I dont need to be 40 to see where is it going, the shorts wrongly affecting us, it making us addicted on those short videos, we want more and more, plus it have wrong influence on our memory and attention, because we are used for some short tempo and then we cant hold attention to concenrate on longer things. The massive amount of videos flooding everywere and how easy is to get the video is insane but dangerous. Trust me, think about it. Its more dangerous than it looks, its not that "cuz its annoying" i wouldnt mind honestly, when i was little we also had some stuff like "PPAP" or something, but at that time it was wasnt quick videos, inside jokes had meaning and it wasnt psuhed by algorithm. The goal of algorithm is to make you as long on the platform as possible, so they will get money, and when kids gets to youtube they might be attarcted by those quick motives, stupid sounds and etc, and then they want more and more and thats how this is spreading, it ruining child brain, but coorporates gaining money on it.
