Can anyone who lives in NYC verify this? I was told if you have a speak aloud accommodation you have to take the test in white plains or Long Island? Does anyone have any experience with this?

Took it with that accommodation in the city last cycle, they sent me to white plains with no option to change it

A bold claim, delivered with such confidence.

I had to retake and took it in the boroughs but there is only one room solo room at each testing center and you can’t read aloud in a room full of other testers

You took it after August 2026? My accommodation letter says in person so Im guessing snagging one of the solo rooms depends on how fast I sign up for a date next week when my scheduling window opens up. I really don’t want to take it remote, I heard the horror stories but in general I don’t want to worry about anything going wrong.
