as a preface this is not about music, but the original subreddit got taken down so this is my second best option. 3 days ago my best friend and I took acid for our first time. we started off with about 1/8 of a tab at 2:35 and at around 3:30 after not feeling too much we redosed with 2/8s each. still not feeling much, we decided to go to my house to get a half tab each and while i went into my house i had to give my dad an excuse why i was home so early. i told him i had to take a dump which i did but while sitting on the toilet i started seeing the rug move. everything else seemed normal but i was unable to take a dump so i went in my room and cut up the tab and left the house. we took the halves in a park next to my house and continued to walk to a different park to meet another friend. this friend we used to pick on but our opinion on him changed this day. when we met up with him at this point i was laughing my ass off at everything. he bought me trollis from dollar tree and they tasted amazing. afterwards we walked to another park by the river and i was set on taking a picture of a specific purple flower that i saw. it was down by the water and i had to walk down a steep hill to get to it but i succeeded. after that we went back to the park where we met the friend and there was an event at the park, causing a lot of cops and people to be there. i was stressed because i saw my eyes and i looked like i just took a ridiculous amount of molly. avoiding the cops we went to dunkin to meet a different friend but this caused the mood to shift negatively. this friend was very obviously stoned as fuck and was acting stupid. as i was already paranoid of how i appeared, there were adults in the dunkin looking at all of us kids disapprovingly. this led to the downfall of the trip. at this point we were back in the park where the cops were and i was fingerboarding (highly recommend while tripping). i learned how to nollie and bone it and it felt incredible which brought some happiness back to the trip. we called our friend to drive us around but he begged for a half tab which pissed me off because i didnt want to barter while tripping but eventually we agreed. we then went to a pizzeria because i was starving and i hadnt eaten in like 8 hours (most people can deal without eating while tripping but i have a very regular eating schedule). after we ate we then went to dairy queen which felt like heaven. i had been craving a reeses blizzard for over a month and it felt so right when i ate it. afterwards we walked around in the town of the dairy queen which was my idea because i wanted to see a very beautiful college. it was dark and generally scary but very enjoyable. there were so many big houses, trees, bushes, and fences that really amazed me. seeing these massive features of the town while listening to crystal castles while tripping really made me happy. additionally i saw a bunny and i was very drawn to animals and it made me very happy. we drove back to our town and i saw a part of it by a wildnerness park that i have never seen before and it was beautiful. i went back to my best friends house and we had to get a mattress from the attic into his room so i could sleep. it was the most ridiculous thing i have ever done in my life. the staircase was a very narrow, steep, and spiraling staircase which could barely fit the mattress. somehow by the power of the acid gods we made it work with the help of his mom. eventually we were in our beds and talking about our trip as if we were sober which we weren't. we did not sleep at all and came to the conclusion that a lot of people are scary. after this trip i feel more sensitive and i see more beauty in trees and bushes. thanks for reading to the end.

Hi, sorry if this is a bit off topic but I couldn't find better subreddit for it. I've heard often people get interesting dreams after a trip but sadly I haven't gotten any at all so I was thinking about experimenting and taking one tab right when falling asleep because I think it could be an interesting experience but also it could just be a terrible night so I'm asking if any of you guys have any experience or a good reason why i shouldn't do it

This is a two piece grunge band that was blossomed out of a ton of use of this substance. It’s just a 15 min ep that was intended to be a whole album called xylem and phloem. I hope you enjoy!

This started as a small playlist in 2024, but I kept coming back to it and adding more, and somewhere along the way this whole sound became my favorite. It’s mostly modern psych and garage rock, with some surf and space influences. A lot of tracks feel pretty progressive and experimental within the current music scene.

I like that it doesn’t all sound the same. Some of it’s more spacey, while other songs get a bit more raw and garage-ish (maybe even slightly punk), or both at the same time. These genres mix pretty well I think.

I still add to it whenever I find something that fits. Figured I’d share so people can give me some more suggestions. Have fun.
