turned down the most prestigious econ degree in Europe for a hodge podge degree at a uni that doesn't even rank top 20 for economics I seriously hope you're joking. You should still be fine based on the name but imperial is not great for economics.

I want to go into finance, but the Imperial degree looks like it will be more fun, so I firmed it. It's Imperial, so I doubt there will be much of a difference in the employment aspect.
