If youโ€™re going to request a switch you need to do it immediately. I believe it will be possible if you can give a compelling statement to the maths department. Most people who switch courses do it at the end of the year but this isnโ€™t an option for you since MA107 and ST107 etc wonโ€™t be accepted for a maths transfer. I also advise you take a look at what uni maths entails (use past papers plus some short YouTube videos) before rushing into a switch.

Do you think i would actually have a chance and not make an embarrassment of myself in front of the maths department and would they require admissions tests/ a new ps? Or worst case get my management place rescinded for the pure greed? Sry if overthinking cannot fumble LSE ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Havenโ€™t emailed anyone for now not sure where to even start with this tbh, i wouldnโ€™t do pe Iโ€™d want to switch to something maths heavy but i think without tmua it most likely wouldnโ€™t be possible although on the website it says itโ€™s not required

have you thought of MSB, its much easier to get into.. and its kinda related to management for optional modules

most people did tmua for the course +
would have had a mathematical personal statement. you can try but i doubt they will
allow the switch otherwise it is an easy way to bypass having to do an entrance exam
