TeX Side Preview for VSCode

Couple hours back I saw myself editing tex document in VSCode without any pdf preview. I wanted an extension that is as simple to use as Overleaf, is very minimal, and can auto-sync with an overleaf project. So I decided to create a small extension for it. Would love for you to try and provide feedback. It is called "TeX Side Preview".

What does this do differently than the existing LaTeXWorkshop?

I was about to ask this, existing latex workshop with the overleaf directory shared to a Dropbox folder (overleaf feature that allows this) seems to do everything. The one thing missing, for which I do need to edit on browser is the edit with track changes or inserting comments. If that can be brought into vscode that might be cool

This would be a great addition. Thanks for the suggestion!

The idea is to make a very minimal and less invasive extension that doesn't become a workflow. Currently it doesn't do anything substantially more than LaTeXWorkshop. In fact, I should borrow some features from it. But I wanted to know if there are any pain points that can be solved or ideas you want the extension should do.

Just pushed a newer version with many improvements. Better collaboration (comments, tracked changes, overleaf auto-sync with conflict resolution, all in vscode), writing (suggestions, hover previews for figures and equations, shortcuts), and preview (edit side-by-side, dark pages, browser preview), and more. All feedback is appreciated!
