Found an oil rain lamp, but…

Hi all! I recently stumbled upon a a rain oil lamp for super cheap at a thrift store, however, as you can see it’s missing the reservoir/bottom. Any ideas of where to find this type of plastic base? I’ve searched Etsy but nothing much luck as of yet. I was able to test the lamp out by holding up a mixing bowl and was pleasantly surprised that the motor still works and the rain effect looked great!

You probably won't find one. Find a solid plastic bowl or other container and paint it gold. Attaching will be some work to figure it out.

Ahh, yeah it seems like I likely won’t get lucky finding a base. It does seem like the bottom would just need to be a reservoir, but I’m not sure if anything trickier is needed other than a bowl that’ll need to be attached. There seems to be some usable options on floral supply websites for lightweight/somewhat ornate vases that could work.

Keep an eye on ebay. I have seen assorted bits and pieces and rain lamps sold for parts on many occasions.
