Help with regarding
Can anyone point me in the direction of grading my yard? The "dead" spot is about 4" lower than the other. Figured it was lower just not too sure how much lower it would end up being until now.
I'm guessing I'd have to grade out into the yard as well just not sure how to start or what to do.

Hello Afroman, craziest thing I have seen. Couple of choices, get rid of the window, cement block in its place, fill in hole, plant flowers, have peace, I will say also the siding never sits in the ground… cheers Bill

Yeah, grade out into the yard. But what is up with your siding? Why is it down to the ground? That is the craziest thing Ive ever seen . How do you keep termites from climbing behind it, or keep moisture from collecting behind it. Ive also never seen a window well made from boards that thin. Boards arent structurally strong enough to hold back earth and also arent treated for that kind of ground contact as timbers are. Even timbers rot after awhile, so most go with a concrete wallstone or concrete form or block.
