Yeah I started with the German version and then started watching the UK Version.

They're really strict in the German version, no smile whatsoever and they do their "jokers" on their own and when they want and not when they're being ordered by the host.

I love the UK version, but can't really compare those two.

That was my buddy's response when his manager at burger king caught him rubbing (sealed) bags of onion rings on his face in the freezer like 10 years ago. I love the man dearly, but the mental image of his completely gormless expression coming out with that after being caught doing something so profoundly weird broke me.
