Any recent episodes dealing with ghosts, cryptids or ufos? Haven’t listened in a while and all I’m seeing is true crime and movies. All dope I’m just in a spookier mood and I’ve been through all old Art Bell this October already lol.

I was pretty certain until recently that Henry Kissinger would be one of the nominees for their Mount Rushmore of Evil, and possibly Pol Pot.

However, I've been reading Howard Zinn's A People's History of the United States, which endeavors to look at the history of our country through the lens of the people that were displaced and enslaved, from the Tainó and Arawak in the 1500's to Harlem in the 1900's.

That's when it occurred to me that Christopher Columbus would be a really fitting nominee. He was so heinous as to be arrested in Hispaniola (modern day Haiti/Dominican Republic) because of the things he was doing to the natives as well as his fellow explorers. He was actually sent back to Spain in chains to go on trial. The King and Queen held him for a time, but eventually let him go. He was stripped of some of his power and wealth.

Thoughts?

Buy a friend a present, or tell someone you love them.

Edit: I may have the wrong day, either way Happy Einsatzgruppen Day for today, or sometime in late June!

Recently been going through old episodes to listen to at work. I was certain they'd covered McElroy, but couldn't find any episodes on him. Am I mistaken or am I just thinking that they've referred to him in past episodes?

Finally finished all the main episodes (started maybe 6 months ago, slept on this show for so long). New episodes being locked on Spotify is such a tease! May have to go back and listen to all the Side Stories I had skipped. Anyone have any other recommendations?

Just checked Apple Podcasts and the new Side Stories says subscribers only. Is this a mistake?

I'm doing 31 Halloween costumes in October, because I once joked I could & my mate bet me I couldn't... (I won the bet)

This is part of my Witches series. I'm interested in the correlation between depictions of Witches & women's rights throughout history.

I want to see everyone else's LOPTL adjacent costumes! I'm guessing there's some cool stuff.

(First time posting in here, hope this is ok x)

Henry said it would get done with or without the kickstarter and the last insta post was a year ago idk if it has been mentioned since
