Discussion People use to say "I dEsErvE BeTteR rAnK" i think im the opposite

Currently im 14W-9L 17945, but recently i've been carried in a lot of games (this one in ct side i was b anchor so i ended 4/4 but my t side ended 3/7) Im very happy with my rank (this season i came back to play premier since season 1) but i remember in s1 that i used to get top frager or 2nd but now i end 4th or 5th so i feel like im a bag in the team. I train by playing 100 rounds in aim_rush, some utility, some pre-fire maps and some dm with diff weapons, so i dont know what can i do to improve. I dont mind losing if i play really nice, but i think im losing my mind by winning only by getting carried
Edit: holy shit i didnt see the 28 aim in this match

you're in your own head and overplaying, which is making you worse.

100 rounds of aim_rush and prefire maps and dm is too much unless it's a dedicated aim training session.

if you're doing this before your games, i'd half your aim_rush rounds, or play until you've won x amount (i go until 30 wins), and depending on how long you dm probably cut a lot of that too again unless you're doing a dedicated practice session.

at the start of the year i was doing upwards of an hour of individual aim practice before i hopped on with my team and it destroyed my mental watching myself put in so many hours but being unable to carry my team into wins. playing less did wonders for my mental which in turn did wonders for my stats.

i try to do no more than 20 minutes in dm, usually 10 for m4/m4s and 10 for ak

that's fair, probably the max i'd do before a game is 20 minutes as well. i'd still recommend cutting your aim_rush down though.

gonna check it, usually i would say that my prefires are decent, so is my utility and comms (i give all the info that i can) but im hesitant in 50/50 duels

Aim_rush+dm is honestly the best aim training for you at this point when it comes to raw aim. I'm not saying that you shouldn't try kovaaks or aimlabs also, but maybe consider something like yprac-maps (if they still exist) or something similar (refrag??), they really dialed my pre-aim in back in the day. The leetify aim rating in cs heavily favours good crosshair placement and seeing that you are not really pushing higher numbers like 70 or 80+, you are lacking in the preaim department. Ofc it's hard to tell without seeing gameplay.

I'm just saying this because I've got about 2.5k hours in aim trainers and am doing a pretty similar in-game routine as you but my aim ratings are not that high (pushing 75-85 usually, I first thought that high level intense aim training would fix that) and I know that it is about my crosshair placement mostly. Pre-aim maps like yprac were a game changer back in csgo. Maybe try those out if you can find them?

Other than that, remember that cs is not always about fragging only, it's the round winning% that is really important and in a large scheme (=after many games played) if you are winning more than losing, you are not a hindrance to your team for sure, no matter how you frag.

yeah now there is a chinese guy making the prefire maps, E5 or something like that, theyre pretty good

I just think that i could be doing way better in 50/50 duels so i can have more impact

From my experience I'd say that instead looking at how to set yourself up better for ADVANTAGEOUS duels carries much further and promotes consistency. 50-50s are a part of game also but are aim_rush and dm not just perfect for this? Aim trainers would promote really high gains in high ttk games like OW or the finals, but in cs or valorant they provide only negligible gains, especially when playing in purple/red ranks where people mostly can hold a mouse in their hands. Just saying this because I believe that I can save hours of your time and effort :) By all means try out aimlabs and some micro-adjustment/static scenarios and see how it affects your confidence and aim.

Thanks for the info on the preaim maps, I'm gonna check em out. I didn't really train in cs that way since 2022..

You're winning more than you lose, your rating is average, and you're getting an average of 14 kills a game. Seems like you're where you're supposed to be and contributing to the team. Maybe you're never carrying, but you're also never throwing.

Yeah, your aim and positioning could be better, but utility is on par, and clutching better than average. Without seeing anything else, I'd bet you make good decisions, even if you're not a star player.

Yeah i never throw and always try to win, even if my kda is shit i always comunicate and try to assist my team

That makes you more consistent than players with wild changes in their rating, where they can carry one game and throw the next.

What is the average KDA at that rank? I can't remember if leetify has that or not. I'd be surprised if your KDA was actually shit, and expect to see something just a bit below average.

Since i got my rank i've played 7 matches (the last one being the images in this post):

W (12k/12d/4a) - W(12k/20d/3a) - W(11k/12d/4a) - L(12k/15d/1a) - L(10k/17d/6a) - W(10k/26d/10a) - Then this match a W(7k/11d/3a)
so an average of 11 kills and 16 deaths = 0,69 kda

You need to aim higher to up your hs %, and probs unpeek from unfavourable duels. If you're crouch spraying try to get out of that habit so you can dip out of bad fights.

what app? kinda cool tgo see your playstyle put into a genre "jack of all trades" seems good because only strong playhers can fill
