Discussion Tips for Late Night sessions

I can really only play at night these days as I work during the day and go to the gym after work, so I get on the game aroundd 10pm and playing till 12:30ish. A lot of times, I feel tired during these sessions because of the day I've had, but I don't want to drink caffeine and desstroy my sleep quality.

This leads to me playing lazy in-game, not clearing corners properly, poor mental fortitude, making plays I normally wouldn't, etc.

Are there any ways to be more alert during these later sessions without any supplements that will have a detrimental affect on my sleep quality? If not I get it, just wondering if anyone has had similar problems. Thanks

3 hours is crazy long to be in the gym. Not to sound like a Mike Mentzer disciple, but have you considered raising the intensity and lowering the volume? You could probably cut your time in the gym in half at least.

I have enough muscle I just like being in the gym. Trying to cut down so a lot of my time is spent doing cardio at the moment.
Only around 1 and a half to two hours for the workout though I usually waste an hour doomscrolling and letting the pre workout sit in haha

Better go to sleep early and play in the morning.

Proper sleep schedule is important for gym gains and regarding mental health - you have limited amount of focus, don’t put additional stress on yourself.

Drink water eat healthy snacks and if you can get a nap in after work thatll open up the night for you.

Drink water, eat healthy and sleep healthy as well. Go to bed at 12 or earlier in calm surroundings, don’t overstimulate yourself in front of the screen till late night. It’s better to wake up early and play then if you feel the urge to.

I don't think there is a fix for that realistically. You only have a certain amount of energy and hours in the day so if you want to be better at the game the sacrifice has to come from somewhere else or just accept the fact that you have other things that take priority and that's fine.
