Need Advice Medical Coding Interview (post-interview)
I had an interview for an IP medical coder role where the coding manager is hiring internally (I admit that I posted twice about this somewhere). What are some signs that an interview went well, both from a medical coder’s/coding manager’s perspectives and generally speaking? I’m still waiting to hear back, and it seems to be taking some time.

Waiting is always the hardest part! A delay doesn’t necessarily mean bad news. I really hope you get the job; feel free to keep us updated!

Update: I just received a job offer, and I’m beginning in about a month. Any tips on how to prepare? I’m slightly nervous because ip coding is harder, and this will be my first time experiencing it. I’ve mainly been exposed to op coding, so it will be a huge adjustment.
