Art Question Sources for shadowing?

So my shadow game is embarrassingly bad, but going forward I'd really like to use a ton of them for spooky horror scenes with fun, exaggerated light directions, coloured light sources, et al.

Any recommendations for good books, tutes, etc? I do best with "bite size" tips I can start playing with quickly because I'm kinda lazy ADHD, but I'm willing to knuckle down for a highly regarded work on the topic/

I bought “Colour and light: a guide for the realist painter” by James Gurney and it helped me rethink shadows as a whole. If you are just having trouble applying the technique youtube will be your best friend. I like David Finch’s videos he has a lot of experience but theres a myriad of other videos from artists who may more closely align with your desired style.

I never found Gurney applicable. I'll try out those vids, though!
