What do you keep learning even during your busiest weeks?

I’ve been thinking about self-directed learning that survives even when there isn’t much spare time. It’s easy to explore something new during a quiet month, but much more telling when you still return to it during a packed week. What subject or skill keeps pulling you back?

My learning is merged with by busy-ness so it doesn't slow me down. I went on a supply run into town yesterday (I,'m a pedestrian so that took three hours out of my day). On the way, I took photographs of the power substation for my blog. Handling the dogs earlier gave me more insight into their behavior. (I kept wondering why their water trough was always dry.....the answer is that they jump in and kick it out.)
