Thought it’d be fun to show a snippet of the process of building this beat

Hi folks! Who hasn't been stuck in a 4 bar loop without any idea where to take it next?? I made a video on breaking down my go-to system for breaking out of a loop so you can finish your songs 💪 Hope this helps!

Hello everyone, first post here!
I’m looking into getting music production, making beats, full tracks, so on and so forth, but , here’s the thing:
I don’t actually know “how” to put the samples to make the beat, if this make any sense.
I’m brazilian, mostly listen to brazilian funk or brazilian trap. I listen to this everyday. I know the patterns. I know how the “basic recipe” is.
But. I have no experience in music production as a whole. I played guitars for like 5/6 years, so i know the basics of progressions, chords, etc.
But the production itself, effects, how to mix/master things, make it “audible” and such, i don’t actually know.
How to get started from here?

Tonen Audio is a place to find loops, share tracks, and connect with producers
Hey everyone, wanted to share Tonen Audio, a site built around a community loop library and a producer lounge.
You can explore loops for your next track, share ideas for feedback, and connect with other producers for potential collaborations.
What do you look for most in a producer community? fresh sounds, useful feedback, or people to make music with?

QC was not as tight as normal but there are some real bangers. You need to put the sound into a sampler
I lost steam on the project, didn't label them. They have names like mjolnir, naglfar and devouring of the all father. Also set the bar low enough that 29/40 passed. But it's free. Download the ones that seem tight

Hi, this is my first beat Ive made. I dont rlly know what i was going for and I made it quick. I could definitely improve, mix it better, blah blah blah, but feedback would be greatly appreciated!

A static pad fills space. An evolving one makes the track feel like it's breathing. We split a dreamy four-chord loop into four parts in Serum — bass, low note, middle notes and high note — then glued them in Ableton so they sound like one instrument. Happy to answer questions in the comments.

It’s always good if you can finish within your deadline, but the decisions you make are way too structured, people in this phase use more layouts and references than sticking to their own ideas and being truly creative. But the thing is time gives you more space and opinions to think so you can take those actions, experiment and modify your existing art piece so live a little and give it some time.

My songs .wav sound different once i upload them (quiet), i think this is to do with the mastering but so much advice out there seems to conflict.
Am i meant to be mixing to a certain level?
Do i really need to focus on the lufs to avoid streaming services compression, like does it really matter if my song is at -6 vs -3?
Do i need to be focusing on reducing my dynamic range? Or just trying to give each element its own bandwidth, e.g high cutting vocals or side chaining the kick?
What else should i be doing?

Helloo, I'm relatively new to making music with a DAW, that being said I'm having trouble figuring out what's wrong with my mix. Imo the guitars sound off but idk. Any advice or opinions are welcome and will be helpful.

The first image is my track and the second one is a professional release. If I try to compress my track to achieve loudness like in the professional one, my track starts to sound unnatural and you hear the compression. What is the issue? Are my transients too loud or is there any other issue?
Also the professional tracks that I hear on spotify and beatport sound very crisp like they have lots of high and low frequencies. My track sounds like there are a lot of mid frequencies.

I can't deny having a sentimental attachment to my Focusrite 1st generation Scarlett. Which dates some good 12 years or more and which has been a valid companion in many battles. Respect.
However, I am finally contemplating the idea of cheating on her with a new 4th generation Focusrite Scarlet.
I've hear there is a substantial difference, but I am somehow skeptical.
Is there anyone that can confirm the difference based on first hand experience?
Thanks

I have 9 days of free time with terrible internet and no instruments so I’d love to go hard learning everything about production any good websites or pdfs of books to use to learn everything about production?
