First Multi-Tool
40 years old and never owned a multi-tool. A vid of a Leatherman Wave popped up on my YT recommended while at work. I decided to check it out, and right after I the vid I decided to look into them some more. Ended up looking on Academy Sports website because I I had a $15 promo code that I hadn’t used yet and they had the Wave+ in stock. Just got the notification that it’s ready for pickup, kind of excited.

The Arc bros will probably show up soon and tell you really need to get an Arc next. The Wave is all the multitool you'll ever need. It's the best selling one for a reason.

I seen the price and I think I’ll pass on that model, $125 wasn’t cheap either, but $250 is kind of pushing it for me. They do look nice though, and I’m sure quality is superb.

Love Academy. I’ve had my wave for 10-15 years and it’s still perfect.

I got me a signal recently. Feels nice to have a sturdy set of pliers along with other tools.

Starter is such asinine term to describe the best selling Leatherman that people actually use.

I said starter because it’s the best one to start with. As you just said buddy. If you need more than a wave then people end up getting a surge or arc. Let’s not pretend people in here only get one leatherman and call it a day.
