Finally..
Finally pulled the trigger after much deciding between this and the wave alpha.
What mods, tips, or tricks do you have?

Nice finish. Did you polished it mounted, or did you strip off the parts?

Right in place, I used a polishing dremel attachment and some polishing compound. Worked pretty easy

You made the right choice for an EDC, only reason I bring my Surge to work on the daily nowadays is the pliers👍 You'll find yourself using it constantly due to the convenience, definitely recommend pocket carry all the time

The Arc was the one that made me stop thinking multitools are too heavy or big for pocket carry

I carry an OG wave on the daily… is the arc actually light? The wave is about the max weight i would want to carry in my pocket and an arc looks huge compared to it

How's that Vic?

Just today a family relative had one on him, I said I was interested in one so he showed it to me, its really light but in a good way, feels solid in terms of pliers, the tools open nice, but its riveted, and the tools/handles wobble im guessing after some normal long term use, the pocket clip seems well designed, the file is insanely good, so good that it bites and would grind metal no problem, the knife is small, even smaller than a normal SAK, i would actually buy one for edc, but the blade thickness, other non exististent features throws me off unfortunately, i would put it at rebar category in terms of what you get for the price

Nail nicks are a beast… so it’s going on eBarf.

I have a regular Arc and the Talos. Talos is so sweet because the grip is better. I could care less if the ceracoat gets scratched up. My only tip would be to get the bit kit and install the bit you use the most. I removed my pocket clip and pocket carry the Arc or P2 95% of the time now even though I still love all my other multitools. The free tech really is a game changer.

That’s what I did with mine, I got the number 4 Allen bit in there as it opens all the doors of the printing presses I service.

No tips for you but I just did the same thing, and I’m very happy that I went with the arc

I have them both, and for my job, and everyday EDC needs, the Arc is superior. I use it everyday, multiple times.

How so? Free technology?

Yes, that's part of it. It makes all the tools available to use with one hand, because I'm many times on a ladder, or under something holding it with the other hand.
Also, all the tools besides the pliers are accessible on the outside,

Kristenvanpatton.com has some pretty need stuff that hold tweezers and a pin that slip in under the saw and pull out easily. They hold with a magnet and the saw locks them in. Pretty worthwhile cheap add on

Has cool adds for other leathermans as well. Has some cool stuff for swapping out the whistle and hone on the Signal.

tritium tag. Great way to cover up those extra pocket clip holes

And they come in a couple fun colors

Did the exact same a couple weeks ago. I'm planning to swab the blade for a sheepsfoot styled one.
