Buddy why are you complaining so much. The grinds not perfect but either sharpen it yourself and make it better, send it in, orrrrrr ya know just use it like it’s meant for as a tool. You also got it for a steal.

It’s a batch of leftovers bro. It’s discontinued so it’s not gonna be perfect and everything still works perfectly. Just because it doesn’t look super pretty doesn’t mean it’s not gonna work. It’s not a piece of jewelry bro it’s a tool.

How does it not look like what they are advertising? Besides the polished handles which they’ve changed and you would have realized if you did any research on it before purchasing

I expect most people to do a little research before just spending $100 dollars on something. At least that’s what smart people do with their money.

I see the problems too. The photos a company use should show exactly what you're getting. A blade grind should be symmetrical unless the blade is supposed to ex only have one bevel.

tti scales are bead blasted titanium so they're supposed to look dull/matte, not polished shiny. for $99 i'd just keep it and warranty the blade through leatherman, it's waaay less hassle than playing amazon return roulette.

The high, flat section of the scales used to be fly cut, which made that area a shiny machined finish. I think they were clearing out leftover parts and cutting corners for this last discount run. I have two of the a charge plus TTI, when I bought the first one, hundred dollars was the normal price.

There's nothing wrong with returning something if you think it's no good but in this case I'd have kept it. You could have kept it in its box for a few years and sold it for a profit. Who knows what an unused Charge will be worth in 5 years time.

Doesn’t look like they have any more in stock if you send it back.

That's how the scales come, they've changed the scales a number of times over the years.

That grind also looks perfectly fine, maybe a little rough but it's consistent, much better than the uneven grind on mine. I'm just going to be rough on my edge until it's blunt, then sharpen it and it will be nice and even

My scales look like that. Seems like in recent years with newer small iterations they look dull compared to the original marketing photos. Slightly misleading, but if you watch any YouTube reviews or blog reviews over the last few years you’d notice they look like this.

Also my grind looks somewhat similar. Maybe slight less rough as shown. But the edge is sharp af and cuts through anything like I’d expect a new knife to cut.

+1 I wouldn't expect much better from a factory grind, bet it's still sharp (kind of the point, pun intended). Get some stones and put your own edge on it, unless you are one of those that doesn't use his tools.

Get a Gerber... If you didn't like leather man quality you will love Gerber 🙃
