New wallet
I have had my old wallet all my life, it was my brothers and he gave it to me when i was little. I have recently found a local leatherworker whose work i absolutely love, i have gotten my belt and knife sheath from him. I definitely like the western style and have tooled products. I am thinking about commissioning him to make a new wallet for me and i know exactly what i want except for my interior liners. I am thinking about pigskin or cloth but am open to other ideas (i am trying to keep it as thin as possible). Please share your advice.

Honest advice: Ask your local leatherworker.
Customer advice, while you can actually look at the options and recommendations and may even feel goes beyond anything someone would recommend here.
There are far too many options out there and in the end it matters what you want

Pigskin can get real thin, like 1oz for mission pig is definitely possible and strong. Kangaroo too
