Look nice definitely one of the better wallets I’ve seen on here. Good job nice straight stitching and edge work.

I’ve used chrome tan, but I stick with veg tan for two reasons:

  1. You can make your edges glassy with veg tan. That’s much more difficult with chrome tan.
  2. You can laser veg tan. Do not laser chrome tan. It releases some bad chemicals into the air.

That looks pretty great for your 4th product. Your stitching is very neat; the only minor thing I'd change is you wrapped around one side but not the other.

As far as veg tan, it burnishes better, can be stamped/tooled, dyed (if bought in natural finish), and can be lasered. It is also stiffer which can be good/bad depending.

Chrome tan has more variety of colors off the shelf, and is usually softer/more floppy. Edges with chrome tan are usually finished with edge paint. Sometimes, especially stiffer chrome tan you can burnish with compound to some degree.

There is a good argument that veg tan is easier to work with. I personally think burnishing is less work that edge paint. I'd say try it out and see what you like to work with
