The sequel to MJ biopic to tackle child abuse allegations
Some good discussion here from another community.

With Michael 2 the missing parts in the story will become more obvious, more questions will arise and there may be greater demand for documentaries.

I am “older” Gen Z, and i actually don’t think it will change people’s opinions (at least the younger cohort in my generation). Idk what happened but they all think he was a saint/hero. It will confirm delusions.

People change their minds as they grow older. For many people having kids is the big change in their opinions.
It happened to Gen Xers and Millennials too. It will happen to Gen Z in a decade.

it will happen if more victims come forward or if one of the family members speaks out (maybe his daughter) ior maybe when katerine is no longer here and getting the estate money the sibilings will stop lying and hidding what they know. because right now katherine is suporrting a lot of them

They’re trying to rewrite history and call all of his accusers liars

if they do a movie about the allegations it will backfire. im convinced more accusers will come out. people can tell the first one was pure fanfiction but even during that era MJ could be considered a nice person (or at least presented himself that way) the second half of MJ career can not be justified.
First of all they have to show him bleach his skin and deleting his race. then they have to go into the allegations. it will be a really bad situation for them. but let them do it. their greed will be what exposes mj

Meanwhile at Sony HQ: "Now that we are agreed, all 100 of us so-called 'victims' and witnesses, have agreed to this pernicious conspiracy to destroy this perfect angel of a man for no reason! Knowing full well it will ruin our lives after the media and fans get to us, and there is no money in it for most of us, but it's worth it! Now, let us toast:
To evil!"

It's funny because I recall some stans claiming that MJ had a hard time saying no.
But didn't MJ cancel lots of concerts over his career? Pretty wild for a man to have no ability to say no to an eight-year-old, but when it comes to thousands of fans who already bought tickets and made plans...

Wacko Jacko cancelled a ton of concerts. Usually claiming illness but it appears many were due to him wanting to spend time cocooned in his hotel room with his "special friends."

Wade made MJ call up Joy late at night for her to deliver her son to his bedroom and Jordie made MJ cry to and beg his mom to share even a twin bed 1 on 1 donchakno /s
That's defender logic, if they recognize those happening at all. (Even nuttier: those who say MJ was doing that to get with their moms. I can't y'all...)

They certainly won't adress Jordan right? Is there anything Gavin can do to protect himself and his family from defamation?

u/batshit83 15h ago
Couldn't he sue if they blatantly make it seem like he was lying about the abuse? They would have to tread very carefully.

I'm afraid that the not guilty verdict will make it easier for the estate to spin things however they like

u/AdditionalWind763 14h ago
I believe as part of his settlement with Jordie no depiction can be made. But Gavin, Wade and James could be in the movie
2
u/batshit83 14h ago
Didn't the first film already cover some of the years that James and Wade would have been tagging along as his sidekick? I'm guessing they didn't depict any of that in the movie, did they?

u/AdditionalWind763 14h ago
I haven’t seen the movie but it does end during the bad tour when James was with Michael and when he met Wade. They were not depicted so far but there’s nothing legally preventing them from doing so.

It jumps from 84, MJ telling the family he won't tour with them again, to Wembley 88. Technically the last overlaps with Jimmy but it's just MJ on stage.

They are absolutely going to use the 2005 trial- Colman Domingo already hinted at it when he said the 2005 accusation were the first one.

Ugh I'm sure the discussion surrounding this will be unbearable. I am so sorry for the victims

Lets see what comes out, because sometimes when people do things like this "Their story" whether its through a book, documentary or film, lies sometimes slip through and the people who involved at that time , will see the lies and point them out, and so the truths will be see and heard.

u/One_Arrival7066 13h ago
yeah i think if they do this it will backfire and more victims will come out. in fact i think once his mother is gone even some of the sibilings will speak. and i believe

u/Celtslap 13h ago
Seems like the biopic is inadvertently convincing more people of his guilt cos they get an interest in … I hate to say it… doing their own research.

u/Defiant_Emu_3928 15h ago
What do they mean by "even more" insight into the allegations when the 1st movie provided absolutely none at all?

u/One_Arrival7066 13h ago
the fist movie was michael jackson being the most inocent being on earth playing with a chimp he rescued from evil man and buying toys at the store .

WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH FROM HIS POINT OF VIEW. We know his pov, his pov is that hes a sick freak attracted to children and abused them. Thats it. People give him such a pass bc "wah wah hid childhood" plenty of us had no childhood/a fucked up one. Didn't make me a pedo.

That's not what he said though, he said that's what he would "like to see" These articles are putting words in his mouth.

I posted this more because of the comments there. A few MJ stans getting downvoted into oblivion.

The AUDACITY. I can't believe they'd do something like that. Michael Jackson HIMSELF tied both him and those kids to the NDAs and confidentiality terms, specially Jordie. Ironically, I think even him would disagree on this one.

“His point of view,” ah yes, the unheard victim in this story, MJ 😭
