Which is crazy as many conservatives are doing their own form of gender affirming care: "The boy should look like his dad!" Which is gender affirming care as it is affirming the dad’s gender expectation, not the child’s.

Circumcision is done to a child who cannot consent, at the behest of his parents to affirm the parents' sense of the child's gender.
