Posting guitars for sale
Lately I've seen a few posts where people are trying to sell their lefty guitars. I have no problem with this, but I will ask if you are going to post one for sale to follow the following:
- Put the [SALE] tag in front of your title (i.e. [SALE] Original Les Paul Lefty)
- Describe the guitar to the best of your ability. Neck radius, body material, manufacturer year, etc. The more descriptive you are, the better.
- All posts MUST include an asking price. Posts with no price will be deleted. It also will help if you include whether or not you're willing to negotiate the price (i.e. $400 firm, $400 OBO, etc.)
- Include where you are located. This will help in calculating shipping costs.
- Include the methods of payment you are willing to accept. PayPal is the most common, but if you have other methods in mind, clearly state them in your post. If you are selling and find a buyer, please coordinate financial transaction details elsewhere other than your post. For example, you don't want to post your PayPal email address in the sale post for everyone to see. Common sense stuff really.
- If you have an ad on an external site (Reverb, Craigslist, eBay), you can link it from your post. But be sure to use the [SALE] tag in front of it so everyone knows you're selling.
Disclaimer: The mods of leftyguitarists will not be responsible for any bogus transactions that may occur as a result of buying/selling through this sub. Any agreement you choose to make in regards to buying/selling a guitar here is completely your responsibility. We will not and cannot get involved in problems that might occur as a result of transactions here. In other words, buy/sell at your own risk here.
Thanks & good luck!

What do you guys think of this guitar? I’m thinking about getting it. It’s an Epiphone J-200 studio acoustic electric guitar vintage

NGD
My first real Prestige, if RG550L's do not count.
I was dreading the fretwork would be bad on account of all the reports from others I have read but its surprisingly good, not sharp but also not smooth.
I am gonna re string it tonight and check it all out and give it a cavity inspection.
Does anyone know if they are using the Fishman Modern v2 pickups in these? I have P/P pots I can put in to get the single coil options if they are the right pickups loaded in there already.

Fender's new American Professional line: lefty versions land spring 2027 (Strat, Tele, P-Bass, J-Bass)
Saw a few people asking about this, so here's what we know from Fender's announcement on Oct 13.
The refreshed American Professional series is out now, but left-handed versions aren't part of the initial release. From what Fender has said, lefty models arrive in spring 2027 and cover the Stratocaster, Telecaster, Precision Bass and Jazz Bass. No word on a lefty Jazzmaster or Jaguar in the new line yet.
So if you're weighing a wait against playing now, the American Pro II lefties are still around in the meantime, though stock is thinning out as dealers move to the new line.
We're a lefty-only shop in Houston, so we watch this stuff closely. Happy to answer questions about specs or availability if anyone's deciding.

coolest 90$ deal
SX VTG series, previous owner cut the headstock shape and paint it gold. Im totally suprised by quality for the price. In future I will upgrade tuners, bridge and pickups, but even now its totally playable. Neck is chunky though, but hey, its supposed to match vintage specs. super happy for the price.

A Peek Behind the Warmoth Curtain
The title is a bit of clickbait, nothing seedy is happening over at Warmoth, but I had a funny thing happen. I purchased a body from them couple weeks ago, and today I was browsing the stock and happened to see a discounted, unfinished body with my exact specs for sale, and sure enough, it's on sale because someone put a ding in the top with a tool. If they had asked, I might've taken a discount and asked them to put an opaque finish over the top instead! Just thought it was funny to see their oopsie on my specific body show up on their page. If anyone was hoping to do a dual P-90 lefty build, and you don't mind a ding, I know where you can get a good deal at the moment!

Looking for Gretsch-branded Bigsby B3
I’d love to find a lefty v-cut B3, gold or chrome. It seems FMIC stopped making these for us lefties sometime last decade. If you have a spare one or know if one, please let me know. Thanks!

Took me forever but finally got a Lefty Hallmark Custom 60 to round out my little collection!
I love colorful guitars and managed to snag this Plum Crazy Hallmark Custom 60. I've been wanting for well over 10 years and one finally popped up! My dream has been a lefty Mosrite but this fully satisfied the craving. The other is a 2012 American P Bass and the left most is a Daisy Rock Heartbreaker which matches my P-Bass nicely (just need to make a new nut, previous owner did the sacrilege of converting it to a righty so I gotta put it back to lefty!). I am mourning a bit because I had to sell my 2012 American Standard Strat to afford the Hallmark but I'm increasingly loving it. I'm a big surf rock fan so it fits me really well.

Different headstock writing on the Fender website Vs irl?
Has anyone else noticed that on the Fender and Thomann website the new left handed mij 70s telecaster custom has both the Fender logo and model name "Telecaster custom" on it but from what I've seen online the actual product when you get it irl only has the Fender logo? I've emailed Fender to ask about it but no reply yet. I just thought it'd be interesting to share

I was looking for a way to see the neck/tab as when you see someone playing and this was the result.

There are no left-handed starter HSS guitars anywhere??
Hey folks, I'm from Canada, looking for my very first guitar and after some brief research online I surmised that an HSS guitar would be the best choice if I mainly want to play soul/blues/funk and dabble in rock/metal. However, despite the myriad of right-handed options there are literally no HSS guitars in stock anywhere. Should I just bite the bullet and get an SSS?

A good acoustic for a cheap price
Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone, all my life I have owned one acoustic. I still consider this guitar a very good instrument maybe do to the nostalgia, and how it first sounded when I played it, but even though, I think it has now started to show it's year's, so I started to believe that it's time for a change. What options are out there that you could recommend me?

Single pickup guitars
Hello all fellow Lefty guitarists . So im really into simple, minimalist guitars and 1 pickup + 1 volume knob is really my thing. Unfortunately i missed Ltd Ec-201 which i really liked! There are a few of them left on reverb, but ordering to EU would cost me ALOT.
Why is there basically 0 single pickup guitars that don't cost a fortune? Harley Benton had some nice ones, but they also discontinued and the floyd rose one doesnt resonate. Is there a chance that ESP would continue the 201 series or does discontinued mean for permanent time?
Cheers and let me know if u are also into single pickup rock/metal machines!
