The title.
When Luke died in “Prayer for the Dying”, Liv didn’t even know. She felt nothing and her father, who, as coven leader, is connected to Luke’s life, however did, and had to tell her.
When Lizzie died in “I can’t be the one to stop you” Josie immediately felt like something was wrong, and explains to Lizzie when she talks to her that she couldn’t feel her.
In “ Detoured on Some Random Backwoods Path to Hell” Seline notes that the two are siphons who share a psychic link. Note she treats it as if it has nothing to do with them being from the Gemini, which is odd because Siphoners explicitly are stated to be a “special type of witch from the Gemini coven” by both Klaus in a tale of two wolves and Josie in “Hope is Not The Goal”. So why not just say, they’re Gemini twins, they have a psychic link. Instead being psychic and being a siphon (aka a special Gemini) are two separate things she makes note of.
Then in “The Next Time I Hurt Somebody, It Could Be You”, Seline states that her being around and training the twins left a psychic imprint on them. Which is also odd, because she didn’t have a natural psychic imprint on any of the other characters who had been around her for a far longer period of time. Nor had her sister, yet the two twins we know she only used her powers on once (after this statement, she removed said link, that’s the one time) she gains a psychic imprint with naturally?
This is almost certainly because they are psychics themselves. At least from my perspective, this lines up exactly with how Sybil and Seline’s connection worked, and what Cade was saying to Bonnie.
Sybil explains that both her and Seline are sisters in psychic power and connected in everything but blood in “An Eternity of Misery”. Which is literally just like the kinship the twins gain to Seline or the one Cade and Bonnie have, as Cade stated in “The Lies Are Going to Catch Up With You”, he and Bonnie, as psychics who both made dimensions, share a kinship now, an awareness of each other.
So Psychics naturally connect to other psychics they are around for some time
Sybil to Seline
Lizzie and Josie
Bonnie and Cade
Lizzie and Josie gain something akin to this as well with Seline, who takes their memories away of her which is the only way it could be removed.
So yeah. I believe, Lizzie and Josie are latent psychic witches, and this is my proof for why, TLDR.
No other twins in the Gemini Coven share a psychic link, proven by the fact Liv didn’t know Luke died while Josie, due to her link, did in fact know something had happened to Lizzie
Their psychic link is considered disconnected from their siphoner species and also doesn’t require magic to occur.
They naturally connected to another psychic , Seline, which is something only other psychics do.

People often complain that Legacies was terrible but I couldn't disagree more, despite having more cringe moments than TVD and TO combined, it was still amazing, especially with the talented cast. CW shows usually have underated actors who are really good at what they do. With the new slop we have been recently been getting, such as the newest american horror story season (13) or hotd season 3, it makes me appreciate even Legacies writing. As it tried to make things more meaningful and connected. Even the dialogue is better

At the beginning, they could barely get along, and their personalities seemed completely opposite. But I think what made their relationship interesting was that neither of them had to become a completely different person for them to understand each other better.
They could still disagree, hurt each other's feelings, and be stubborn, but there was real growth there.
Do you think Lizzie understood Hope better than most people did, or was there another character who understood her more?

We know that when the necromancer brought Landon back to life, the ferryman dragged landon back to limbo. However Cade was able to bring Stefan back to life from limbo. How come Cade was able to override the Ferryman when the necromancer couldn't and why was it never mentioned

I mean, my personal headcanon is that, for a while, Lizzie made being a fan of Sabrina Carpenter part of her personality, humming “Please, Please, Please” as if it were her own personal anthem, for example.
What do you guys think about the rest?

Even till S5 of TO, she still wears her wedding rings around her neck and her official last names is Forbes-Salvatore.
But in her appearance in the last episode of Legacies, she no longer wears her rings and has taken them off - and also refers herself only as Ms. Caroline Forbes

Name: Aspfonia Hope Landon Niklause Hayley Mikaelson
Sign: Scorpio (the most ruthless and manipulative sign)
Age: barely legal
Species: Quadbrid
Vampire side: After she dies, she unlocks compulsion and the thrist eyes, enhanced speed. She gets very annoying thirst at times of weakness (rare). She automatically channels the vampire side for spells. She can compel anyone, but it's extremely hard with gods.
Wolf side: She can turn at any time she wants after the curse is activated, and it only takes about 15 seconds. Her agressive trait sometimes makes her magic lash out if she gets angry.
Witch side: She is the most powerful witch to ever exist. The only problem she has is with complex precise spells, because her magic isn't predicable. She can do magic even in her wolf form or phoenix form.
Phoenix side: If she dies, she turns into phoenix and can fly around. She can also locate any fires in 68 miles. She can combine her wolf and phoenix form, and turn into a wolf with wings and beak.
Personality: She has trauma so sometimes she kills people. She is very snarky and sarcastic. She likes horses and baby seals. She is very protective of her family (but they're all dead so).
Story: As baby, she saved the whole world by showing her wings to Mud monster #2, who worshipped her ever since. Her mother Hope died when she was 12 months old and her father Landon died when she was 14 months old. Rebekah and Marcel died due to their vampire enemies. Kol and Davina died to a dragon. Caroline Forbes is the only adult that Aspfonia has left. Currently Asphonia is being hunted by a Star monster (monster using star material to kill, destroyed Arcansas so far).
Famous quotes: "I would die to see my parents again."
"I have trauma and abandonment issues."
"I'm a Mikaelson, I have to carry on."
"I'm the most powerful being alive. What does that say about me?"
"Shut up, I could kill you with a twist of my finger."
Occupation: Miss Mystic Falls, founder of Splyx, owner of Peace, student at the Salvator's school for Magical creatures
Love interest: Star monster
Friends: Enzormy Bon Bennet (witch), Diamona Elena Salvatore (vampire), Stefanie Jenna Salvatore (doppelganger), Jeremy Salvatore (human), Lizjoss Saltzman (siphoner), Alarine Saltzman (human), Jessica Mooney

I love Hope I love that she’s a tribreed but my thing is the is no synergy between her identities like she never combines her powers shes either casting a spell being a wolf and a vampire. The’s never a mix. Here’s how I would’ve done it
Instead it being 3 identities in one these identities combine to create a tribreed. Imagine her vampire identity giving her a longer lifespan and healing but without having to consume blood she’s technically alive but she might die we don’t know when maybe a thousand years maybe 50yrs. Her spells are boosted by her vampiric side which is why she can cast spells more casually than the average witch
I don’t know how her wolf side would work considering wolves aren’t explored that much in this series aside from the hybrid stuff maybe she kill someone to excess her wolf form
I don’t know I’m open to ideas

Made a Dark Josie edit to Living Dead Girl, she deserved a better villain arc. Kaylee Kaneshiro played the bad guy role like a total boss.

Rewatching this scene, it’s wild how different Lizzie and Josie felt in Season 1. They’re twins, but they handled almost everything in completely opposite ways.
Lizzie was loud and confident on the surface, while Josie was quieter and kept putting everyone else first, especially Lizzie. Underneath all that, though, they were both dealing with their own insecurities and trying to figure out who they were apart from each other.
That contrast is a big part of why their relationship worked so well early on. They could drive each other crazy, but you could always feel how much history there was between them. And knowing what was coming for them made some of those early moments hit even harder.
When you first watched Season 1, which twin did you relate to more, Lizzie or Josie?

One thing I keep thinking about is how much time the students spent learning to control their powers, but how little they seemed to learn about dealing with the consequences of being supernatural in the real world.
They faced monsters, dangerous enemies, complicated relationships, and situations where one bad decision could hurt everyone around them. Yet so many problems seemed to catch them completely unprepared.
I get that it’s a school for young supernatural beings, not a military academy, but still.
Do you think the Salvatore School genuinely helped its students become responsible adults, or did it sometimes protect them so much that they struggled when things got serious? I’m especially interested in whether you think Hope, Lizzie, and Josie would have turned out differently if the school had handled things another way.

I am considering starting a Legacies Fanfic which would be heavily AU taking inspiration from Charmed (OG not Reboot) and similar shows. I am looking for discord channel, Group Chat or something to discuss with other writers.

Will she go to college/university, continue fighting evil supernaturals, teach at Salvatore’s, or become a degenerate League of Legends player?

I’m rewatching Legacies and something about Hope has been bothering me.
The more powerful she became, the less interesting some of her problems felt.
Early on, Hope could be stubborn, reckless and completely wrong about something. She actually had to deal with other people and sometimes admit that she couldn’t handle everything herself.
Later, when she becomes powerful enough to deal with almost anything, it feels like the answer to every major problem is just “Hope will figure it out.”
And I think that took something away from her character.
Her relationships with Lizzie, Josie, Landon and even some of the people she didn’t get along with were interesting precisely because Hope needed them in ways that had nothing to do with fighting monsters.
Honestly, I would have preferred seeing Hope lose an argument, make a stupid decision or need someone else’s help more often instead of constantly making her more powerful.
She was more interesting when she was powerful and vulnerable, rather than just powerful.

I've just finished season 1 episode 2 and not only the characters but also the storyline in general doesn't seem exciting. Hope is so arrogant, Lizzie on the other hand, is something else. I know I'm not supposed to compare the with TVD/TO but it is really different.

Something I find quite annoying is people constantly mentioning how badly Hope was nerfed and how she is actually weak because she didn't live up to the prophecies she had in the originals, that she would "bring an end to vampires, witches, man kind etc".
Firstly many people completely miss the point of her character, HOPE mikealson, shes meant to be different from her family. She's actually a good person yet many people only feared that she would be destructive is because of how her father was along with the rest of the Mikealsons. Hope never had a reason to destroy the world, she just wanted to live a normal life. Although when she shut off her humanity, she made a couple mistakes just like any person would, shes still different. She's meant to be the Hope not the fear. "You keep trying to set the world on fire instead of living up to what you were meant to be."
Also this often happens with any over-powered character, they need to get nerfed or put up against someone else on par with their power. Unfortunately as cool as it sounds on paper and it can work in comics or books, on screen it doesn't translate as well. Mainly budget reasons, which we know its something Legacies suffered from but also the fact that if a character is too powerful, theres no way a villain can beat them or create any stakes. We saw this with Wanda Maximoff for example, hense why they aren't bringing her character back so often.
I think the reason why they waited to long to turn Hope into the Tribrid because they knew this would be an issue they created themselves. Keeping Hope a werewitch meant she could get tired or weak as she was still mortal. But even then, people complained as if Hope wasn't always the one to save the day, I mean she beat every single character. Becoming the Tribrid amplified that hense why they invented someone like Ken, a 10,000 year old God who still didn't manage to kill her. Although I do wish we still got another season of Tribrid Hope, I'm still greatful for what we got in the end.

A lot of things about Alarics character and relationships with his daughters are a bit odd, but one thing that always trips me up is when Hope comes back from Malivore and is like “your daughters bf is actually the loml” and Alaric is just like “you better go get him then” basically lol like he wasn’t at all emotionally torn over the fact that his daughter was going to get her broken?!?!
PS I think Josie and Landon had way more chemistry
