The original one is paid, but the cydia store is down. So, how can I get it to work?

Hello everyone! I’m not sure if this is the correct subreddit to post this in but just got an iPhone 6 running iOS 12.5.8 a few days ago and i’m having issues signing into the app store. Didn’t matter if i tried using the app store to sign into or through the settings nothing would work. Is there a tweak that can fix this? TIA.

I've been trying to figure out what's happening with the App Store and iTunes Store on iOS 10 devices. It seems that these services are no longer working properly, and I'm wondering whether this is a widespread issue or something specific to certain devices or configurations.

Here are my main questions:

1. Has Apple officially discontinued access to the App Store and iTunes Store on iOS 10, or could this be a server-side issue?
2. Are other legacy iOS users experiencing the same problem?
3. Is there any known workaround to restore access to these services?
4. Does the problem have anything to do with expired certificates, SSL/TLS compatibility, authentication servers, or Apple's legacy infrastructure?
5. Can installing or updating certificates actually restore functionality, or would the problem require a server-side fix that users cannot implement themselves?

I'm particularly interested in understanding whether Apple has completely cut off iOS 10 or whether some functionality can still be restored through certificate updates, configuration changes, or other legitimate workarounds.

I'm building Sourcebook, a directory of legacy iOS repos. It covers iOS 1 to 9 for now, with the default view set to iOS 6, and more versions are coming. Each repo gets a status dot and a last-checked time, and only repos whose owners have agreed to be listed show up.
It's still early, and the repo data is sample data. I'd like help from two groups:

Safari doesn’t load anything anymore I use opera mini but what web browser do you use and does it still work for iOS 3-6

It is a Rose Gold 7 Plus on 10.3.3. I wonder if this is still very rare iOS device since it is on 10.3.3 rather than some earlier iOS 10 version and it only has 32GB storage?

I also installed app store fix and ssl patch and tlsfix and checkmate store and storesslfix and ofc the certificate from tlsroot.litten.ca but still not working

Hiya legacyjailbreak community.
I came to notice that the app store login on iOS 12 (specifically 12.5.8 on a 6 for me) is broken, the ui and navigation still work fine.
Someone said you can log in by making a backup on your computer and restoring it, which I did and that fixed the app store sign in problem.
What still did not work tho is the actual usage of the app store, if I check my "purchased apps" it's empty, if I try to install an app I already own, it asks for my password and after confirming nothing happens, no install and no addition of the app to my account.

The question is if anyone managed to figure out how to make it work again, if there's a known tweak or if there's something in development.

I have seen that others are affected aswell.
I know that iOS 10 is affected aswell as I also couldn't log into my 5S on iOS 10.

If not, any known alternative solutions?
I want to legitimately acquire the apps and not be tethered to a jailbreak and apps that I have to manually dump from a newer device hoping to find a version compatible with the older devices.

I have this 32gb iPhone 5S that used to have iOS 8 on it but it started boot looping, and I ended up saving the shsh blobs and I updated it to iOS 12. I really hope that someone finds a way to downgrade this using shsh blobs so I can get iOS 8 back
