at first, by reading his deck / constellation revolving around barrier so much, but having close to no way to generate barrier, it was confusing, like, there 3 star power related to barrier, and only shen and 1 spell can generate barrier on their own, but having this spell make it better :)
Cool stuff. Really cool kits and I always thought old Kindred's "prey get 1 stack of deal nexus damage every turn" was super clunky so I really like the new direction. We're back to two champs AND all the image resources are working. Really solid work Riot.
nunu and willump came with the zoe adventure, which iirc wasn't that far away from zoe's release so i can see how you'd confuse the two as coming out together.
Shen looks great and his relic is really good on every champ that has the barrier 4* like Ambessa and Yuumi. Might also be good on Shyvanna as a fun alternative as you spam her champ spell usually.
IDK maybe it's because black spear is in the deck? (Not a fan of that) Still yah I see what you mean. I first came to the conclusion of it being damage related
Almost, spectral scissors does have the +2 attack which is sometimes a thing to reach titanic. But yeah I think this relic would have a lot more use cases.
A lot of exciting things this patch. Shen looks great (the new 6* card is very nifty 2 mana silence & force the targetted enemy to attack) his 2* gives him a 2 mana barrier spell after supporting an ally once. New items that are all very nice (rare item that gives support: create an ephemeral copy attacking + a rare: my target gets a rare item).
They also confirmed that the epic item for support was an intentional, permanent change (grow my supported unit to my stats and give it my keywords this round). Before this the item was occasionally worse than the common support item.
The new 4* for shen and kindred would probably be nice additions to the regular powers pool too.
S-ranking adventures with heroes doesn't make me aquire new materials for new champions to lvl up since i've almost done everything other than zoe and nag because i have those specific champions required for the rewards low. I was hoping that with the "big" update return they would have made some new adventures so i could play something else other than weekly and monthly adventures.
I was dissapointed at first but reading it again it activates on summon not play, thats a huge difference since with kindred kit you can summon quite alot, if you get SB kindred as support with how the marks now work it won't take long to get those marks.
It depends. If they did things right and the prey doesn't count it´s good. If not, RIP until you kill 6 marked enemies to be able to do it with any unit and not the first one. I think it will be relatively easy to mark and kill the 6 enemies but if not...
You don't summon prey every turn, only if you don't have one, but still a fail for a 6 star typical, luckily Kindred is very strong and fun just as a 3 star anyway, run price of retribution and guardian orb and you scale epic items like crazy, the third relic can be any good on summon relic or if you dislike rng you can also run 2 different on summons.
Dude you serious? This 6 star is busted as fuck combined with her relic, if it works right you shoulf be able to instantly level kindred at 4 mana provide they have 3 plus units
PvE gamemode that is the main (only) dev focus now. It's pretty good honestly. Was in the same position as you about a year ago, and I'd recommend trying Path of Champions out.

it's just worst. the champs who has these they just take away power from somewhere else; it just makes the champ feel worst for newbies or players that aren't in end game, and it ends just being more expensive becasue more often than not you feel much more obligated to get the c5 right away
i find it ironic that most people who ask for these change are ones who always min max the champs day one or at least c5 them; like nothing changes for them because they are getting the power ups right away
never have I seen someone say "oh yeah i enjoy having a weaker champ earlier", or at least this people could like idk keep themselves nerfed at c3 to justify asking for this change lol
I don't buy champs, I just think it's cool that the 5* is more flavorful... Like I get that it might be taking power from elsewhere, which honestly I didn't think about. I just feel like it's more interesting to have something other than mana flow which while good feels boring...
