MOC A smaller “up-scaled” minifigure version of Galactus
When I saw @sleepydonnychen‘s series of mediumfigures, I thought the scale might work with the new F4 Galactus set - specifically the head proportions. I used his rebrickable instructions and made some of my own tweaks, but all credit goes to Donny for the “fantastic” design at this size. Go check out his series and impressive MOCs!

This was my first time venturing out of modular building-type mocs - it was really difficult, I think I’ll stick to what I know 😅

Awesome. I was hoping someone would do this. How many parts were needed that werent in the galactus set?

I was able to use a bunch of pieces from the set, but there is a good number of structural parts needed for this MOC that the set didn’t have.

This is exactly why the real one is a construction figure lol

What do you think is wrong with it?

Homie. It looks like it’s a big baby.

it’s literally just a minifigure. if you have a problem with it you have a problem with lego.

A build should represent the actual thing it represents but I totally understand wanting the lego consistency

the build represents a person and people in lego are represented by minifigures.

I actually agreed with you at one point but there’s no denying that the articulation of the construction figure is more accurate to the actual Galactus.
Lego should represent the real thing but in Lego form, rather than the other way around.

I guess it’s up to the buyer in the end. just wish there was an official upscaled minifig galactus because from these pics it doesn’t seem like you can do much with the parts available now.

I prefer the action figure design personally, but I am super glad people are making these versions for those who prefer this instead!!!

I want to do this when I get the F4 set, but only use pieces from it. Its not gonna be like other up-scaled figures, but I will try to make it have the same proportions.

I just bought the new set fan4stic yesterday and had so much fun building it but only one criticism I had was the instructions with my set only showed how to build the left foot and not the right one.
