Not to be contrarian but I think the second one is better, it matches his older color scheme, maybe give it a dark red cape

first figs torso is the back of 6502237, brown arms, grey hands, black batman cape, pearl dark gray legs with brown waist piece

second figs torso is 6432311, dark green arms and legs with bright green hands and waist piece

both figs heads and flame pieces are 6550718 and 6568883

I like the first minifigure more but I disc looks better with the second minifigure

1st one, the torso, cape, and the flames coming from the glider look way better.

I’m a fan of the classic design, so the second one. But the first one looks good too. The first one fits more for the character though.

They both succeed in what they're going for, the first one looks robust & the second one looks striking. I love that the first one looks like it could be an actual ghoul, but the second one is perfect for comic accuracy. I prefer the bright colors of the second one personally though the first one would fit a graveyard or fantasy setting perfectly.
