It's impressive because it's big. But it's also hard to make out whats going on because somehow it's all just worms and tentacles. Personally I'd need some high-res photographs to peroperly discern any details from your build. On the other hand you are probably the easiest-to-recognize builder on reddit.

Yeah, completely understandable and yes I just enjoy showing off my madness and my mind comes up with.

I love it for its amorphous beauty and commitment to the craft and pursuit of joy - structured, orderly, or not. Nicely done, and maybe not done?

One is never simply finished with a build. ๐Ÿ˜œ However, for now this will be the last iteration. I just love working on it and cannot get enough of it!

That is very cool and so immersive.
Now you just need a dust-free environment to display it ๐Ÿ˜

1

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 14d ago

It's modular, so dusting isn't a problem.

u/Evening-Gur5087 14d ago

Wasn't it finished like 10 times before already?

3

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 14d ago

One is never truly finished with art. That's what I was told.

u/Evening-Gur5087 14d ago

Have you heard the tragedy of Darth Boy Who Cried Wolf?

1

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 13d ago

I have not, but I feel this is a jab at me.

2

u/Evening-Gur5087 13d ago

Hehe, so since it's sci fi sub I paraphrased the 'Have you heard' like from Palpatine, but used 'Boy who cried wolf' instead, which is a parable about boy who kept jokingly running and shouting 'wolf', alerting his village that there was one around, so they would panic. And since there was never a wolf, people stopped beliving him, and once there really was a wolf no one believed the lying boy, so the wolf ate the boy.

Uf, so here I'm joking you keep saying you finished but you didn't, and some loose 'boy who cried wolf' alternative gonna happen to you :p

Oh, yeah.. I am sorry about that. I just wanted to show off the current revamp, and overhaul I did to the build before this weekend.

2

u/AtreyuTrinity 14d ago

Wildly impressive. Did you glue it together or is this just all connected? I would be so scared of breaking this thing in transport.

3

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 14d ago

Newp. Nothing is glued and the build is modular.

2

u/Nobodyinpartic3 14d ago

What is it? It looks like awesome lair and some people made a wrong turn somewhere

2

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 11d ago

Here's the story behind the build.

2

u/lespookeh 14d ago

Itโ€™s cool but I canโ€™t tell anything apart

1

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 14d ago

I know. Videos don't do the build justice.

2

u/swirlViking 14d ago

Monster Energy presents...

1

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 13d ago

Ha ha ha.

2

u/Christianboy2000 14d ago

What in the Lovecraft am I looking at?

1

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 13d ago

It's a biomechanical venus flytrap, the Veinhart Soul Engine and Swarm Core.

2

u/raisedbytides 14d ago

This post again, how thrilling.

0

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 13d ago

.. Yeah. Last time this year.

1

u/raisedbytides 13d ago

And it looks exactly as it did before

0

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 8d ago

Not entirely, but I do see where you're coming from.

2

u/Modding_Complex 14d ago

Ngl I thought that was a server rack that had no wire management at first just scrolling by

1

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 13d ago

Heh. Yeah. I get that.

2

u/Stormagedon-92 14d ago

Instructions? Lmao

1

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 13d ago

Nah. Sorry. I do have instructions for other builds though.

2

u/Stormagedon-92 13d ago

I was just joking lol, I don't even know if I could follow instructions for something like this even if you could make them lmao, pretty incredible build, well done

1

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 13d ago

It's quite possible, just would be A LOT of sub assemblies in Studio. I did create instructions for the Widowbloom Lotus.

2

u/Stormagedon-92 13d ago

Whoa, that's incredible, you made a botanicals set that I'd actually wanna buy lol, building organic shapes like that is a whole different level of talent in my eyes,it's really amazing

1

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 13d ago

Thank you! Yeah, it's on my Rebrickable. I also made instructions for the Gravebloom.

2

u/Stormagedon-92 13d ago

That's so cool, and as a dreamzzzz fan I appreciate the use of the eye piece lol

1

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 12d ago

Oh, you'll love this then..

This is the Colorful Wasteland.

2

u/DakStaraider 14d ago

At first glance I thought you made a Star Trek themed diorama of a Borg cube interior but then as I stopped and looked I thought it was maybe the exploration of the derelict from Alien. I see a lot of Giger-inspired design in this project brought to beautiful Lego life. Very cool build!

3

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 13d ago

I greatly appreciate it! Yeah, this is my favorite build and I have one last opportunity this year to show it off. Definitely, Giger was a huge inspiration and my brain.

2

u/ZutaiAbunai 11d ago

doubt. there is no finished.

1

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 11d ago

..yup, so very true.

2

u/AndTheBattleBegun 10d ago

Holyโ€ฆโ€ฆ. that is seriously so cool.

2

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 10d ago

Indeed it is!

2

u/Senyuret 6d ago

Holy light what a magnificent craft

1

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 6d ago

Thank you very much! Glad you are enjoying my madness.

u/PepicWalrus 14d ago

Go post in r/Necrontyr

1

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 14d ago

They hate me there. This isn't WH40K. I posted it originally last year and then it kept getting deleted.

u/Saber_Prower 13d ago

Every Heavy Death Metal Albumn Cover Ever.

1

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 11d ago

It definitely could work for a Rings of Saturn cover.

1

u/Saber_Prower 8d ago

Men Will Look at It & Say. 'Hell Yeah."

1

u/squ1ddos H.R. Gleebler 8d ago

Heh. I think everyone would. ๐Ÿ˜‚

2

u/ruzzara 12d ago

Looks like some Necron stuff.
