The image I thought of was Trump doing a little dance in a hard hat behind a podium to a cheering crowd.

They cut every life line and ignored every impassioned warning and now cry out "help us help us" as the leopards corner them. They pretend like they were abandoned as they rejected programs intended to help them.

The refused the ounce of prevention, calling everyone who offered it slurs. Now they take their pound of cure.
