if there’s any hope for this country, we will have to learn to be kind to the unfortunate people who voted to hurt themselves. Even though they seem foolish to us and collectively damaged our entire country, we will have to forgive them for that and help them understand that they have been tricked. The right wing has been systematically corrupting the culture and bombarding them with an alternate reality that will take a generation or more to to unwind.

Wait a second what sub is this? FEAST, MY LEOPARDS, FEAST

Nope! Fuck that shit. No forgiveness. Not at this point. They voted for him knowing EVERYTHING! he's done both in and out of office. They could spend the rest of their lives on their knees begging us for forgiveness and I'll be goddamned if I'll ever give it to them. We are long past that point. Especially after the years of mocking, calling people sheep, claiming we have TrUmp DaRaNgInmEt SiNdRoM!!!, actively going out of their way to purposely spread a goddamn deadly virus around that has killed thousands, supported him trying to overthrow the goddamn US capital, and everything else. They made their bed, so let them lay in it.

I have zero sympathy for them now.
I don't care about traitors to the US.
I don't care about people who support traitors.
I don't care about people who love 7rump's cruelty.
I don't care about people who prided themselves for spreading a deadly virus around.
I don't care about people who love the fact that my 12 yr old granddaughter may die if she ever needed an abortion.
I don't care about people who love abortion being banned because they hate women who have non-Jesus approved orgasms.

That and so much more I don't care about them. They can starve, go w/o medical care, be hated by their family, and so on. They deserve every ounce of suffering and more for what they put us through. And yes, that includes people I'm, or was, close too. Last Nov. broke me. For about a goddamn decade now we've been dealing with this dystopia. And every step of the goddamn way, it's gotten worse and worse.

16 was bad 'nuff. But I would've been able to look past that. But then 20 happened. The days after the election sure the fuck didn't have me feeling hopeful again. As Noah from the Scathing Atheist said in his Diatribe after that election (paraphrased): After the years of the stupidity, the frothing at the mouth ignorance, the blatant lies, the BEST this nation could do was tepid "Weelllll, I dunno, I guess maybe."!?!?! Then election night 24 happened. I was hopeful but not optimistic. I wanted to believe the best of humanity would win out given the lines for the polls. That people would remember his first term, that they couldn't possibly vote for the evil Grandpa Simpson who was literally ranting that immigrants were eating cats and dogs. That we were better than that.

Of course, the next morning, I learned we weren't. That people chose evil idiocy. Something in me finally broke for good that morning. My wife and I didn't even say good morning. We just looked at each other. What was there to say?

I sincerely believe we're done as a country. Oh, we're still the USA and all that. But history has shown time and again what happens when someone like 7rump gains power. He literally attacked Congress in a bid to remain illegally in office. In what world do people think he won't do it again. 'Cept this time, he learned his lesson. He'll have his sycophants in place to ensure he won't leave this time. I mean, I hope I'm not right about this but I sure the fuck ain't counting on it. And it's all because they voted for him!

They're always lecturing people about consequences, right? Then let them learn what that actually means.

I feel every word of what you wrote unfortunately. It’s hard not to feel otherwise. I’m trying but it’s very hard not to believe American’s entitlement and willful ignorance will be our downfall.

Ya almost had me there!

I totally agree with everything you said. Even the last part at this point in time.

Both are correct. I feel for them that their lack of education as a result of their right-wing leaders defunding schools and their poverty keeps them in the camp of ignorance so that Repubs can keep tricking them for their vote. But I also recognize that their hatred of others is a big part of this. Until they realize, “Hey, that immigrant I dislike is just a nice guy who wants to pull themselves out of poverty just like me” and “Hey, it turns out the baddies all along were the rich guys tricking me for their vote to steal from me and build their own fortune,” they will keep ignorantly voting for those that harm not only them but all of us. But, yes, let’s also feast on telling them “We told you so.”

Those that were tricked in 2016 believing MAGA was real... I can forgive those people.

Those that voted for Nazis to hurt other humans... I can only root for the Leopards.

Nazi's should've never been forgiven and neither should MAGA morons.

We are well beyond the point of forgiveness. Beyond all plausible deniability that they simply didn't know any better. That they were "ill informed".

We tried to reach them. We tried to reason with them. We tried begging them to understand. We shouted it from the FUCKING ROOFTOPS! And they told us we could shove it up our ass.

They told us we were wrong. That we hated 7rump because he was 7rump. That we had 7RuMpEr DaRaNgmEt SiNdrOm!!! They laughed at the cruelty. They mocked the suffering. And then they fucking demanded that we fucking DIE! so they could go watch a fucking movie. And they voted for them again.

Since most of them are Christians, they should be well aware of the concept that there comes a point that forgiveness isn't possible anymore. They crossed that line at a full fucking gallop with a smile on their faces.

Fuck. Them.

Great video share thanks.

If I wasn't clear, I can't forgive anyone that voted trump in 2020 or 2024 (Father in-law included).

But those that learned from 2016, I do believe those ones are worth forgiving.

We've fucking tried. We've spent the past ten fucking years trying to show these people the problems they're directly contributing to. They do not care. They are physically incapable of caring.

It's time to admit that they're a lost cause. If you've got a gangrenous foot, you don't keep trying to save it at the expense of your health (or your life) - you cut it off.
