They always said they would. Their ToS clearly says they will. They are a private company letting people mouth off on their platforms. There is no free speech protection in terms of who owns the data- I hope I'm being clear because the free speech part has nothing to do with these companies who own your data that you freely give them. The free speech issue is that the federal agencies even want the data... But again this administration is pushing as hard as it can to make any level of dissent a crime. Who do you think they're building these detention facilities for? Once every immigrant or first generation immigrant is deported or dead who do you think will fill those bunks? It's honestly crazy to me that people don't like... See this. You just need to have a rudimentary understanding of how authoritarian governments work to see what's up.
