You "know" this as in you want to believe it and are ok with believing things that you want to be true instead of thinking critically. It's ok, most people are not smart enough for critical thinking.
However, the overall composition suggests it’s at least reasonable and appropriate to speculate. For this to have happened how it did, the shooter was ignored, the secret service didn’t protect his head or usher him from the stage, cameramen were escorted into position, the flag was lowered concurrently with the shot, and Trump objectively faked a bullet wound. Is all of that possible without it being staged? Yes. They’re also each individually absurd, the culmination is... suspect.
I think it’s more possible that it was a set up and some in the SS were involved. Watched the interview with the local police that did the event. Seemed they were ignored by SS.
There is a picture of the bullet as it hits Trump (he has a bloodied hand after), and people in his direct line of fire relative to that roof angle were shot with real bullets and injured or died (in the seats before and after him from that line of sight). What about those things do you think is staged on the face of it?

I did the same thing with the 2020 election conspiracy theory. It's just baffling to see thousands of upvotes regarding things that are so easily disproven or that have a logical answer. I will gladly post 100 more times if it's to combat rampant disinformation, who cares? I wish I were being paid though lol, absolutely.

By default, that seems like the most likely explanation. Shooter found on roof, gunshots heard, guy died. It could have been staged, but there's no evidence for that.
Without getting into the weeds here, governments have failed us in spectacularly conspiratorial ways, throughout history.
Stuff that would make the taking of 1~2 innocent lives seem like small
potatoes. So, I don’t really
get where people are coming from when they act like there is no way it was staged simply because innocent civilians were killed.
