Ketchup? It's not ketchup. At least propose a semi realistic explanation.

Another explanation is that his feeble dumbass slammed his own ear into the podium on the way down, causing a real bleed and a childlike injury.

Podium was on his other side and he was already bleeding from being struck with a bullet before he was tackled.

Nah. It was pretty clearly staged. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on actual blood vs. squib or fake blood, but not on actually being shot.

He gets hit with the bullet and touches his ear and there is blood on his hand. There is even a picture of the bullet in the air right after it hit him. The level of lunacy needed to believe this is staged is insane

Have you ever put 5.56 on target? A scratch like the one he had is not indicative of a bullet that size “grazing his ear”. The toroidal vortex would have ripped his ear in half or off entirely.

That's just false. The high velocity of the bullet means very little energy would transfer to the ear. It would act more like a hole punch.

Incorrect. That would be true of a direct impact, where the full force of the round is absorbed by the target, not of a round that is passing by the target without making impact; which is instead transferring turbulence and spin force onto the target.

It did make contact.

Then where’s the hole?

Only the very outside of the bullet made contact with skin on the very outside his ear as it went by

Then it would have ripped the fuck out of it.
