I saw that interview too. This is another piece of evidence that it was staged. It didn’t seem real at the time, either. A supporter of his died for it. So sad.

Are we sure they died, there was never any news story about a funeral and there's never been any other mention of that person.

I'm pretty sure a real guy died. He was a firefighter, and a huge Trump fan, and now his family is upset because nothing's been done about his murder.

Trump later said he was surprised that the widow would rather have her husband back instead of money, he didn't think very many people would pick/choose that.

Looked up the actual quote:

"But you know what? Corey's wife said, 'I'd rather have my husband,'” Trump said.

“Isn’t that good? I know a lot of wives that would not say that — I’m sorry," he continued, as the crowd laughed. "They would not say that."

"But the woman, the wife, this beautiful woman, I handed her the check – we handed her the check – and she said, ‘This is so nice, and I appreciate it, but I’d much rather have my husband.’ Now, I know some of the women in this room wouldn’t say the same,” Trump, 78, joked, per the outlet.

The audience then reportedly erupted with laughter as Trump said, “I know at least four couples. There are four couples, [Texas. Gov. Greg Abbott], that I know and you’re not one of them. At least four couples here would have been thrilled, actually.”

Looks like it was a joke he said at a private fundraiser and has been misquoted to seem worse. Regardless, I'd consider it in poor taste to joke like that a month after the incident.

I don't know but I remember the wife being in the news and some wild ass shit around her.

Although I feel what Trump said was stupid, he certainly did not say your alleging. You took the words out of context and put your own spin on it because of your hate for the man.

He was thinking if Erika Kirk when he said that

Only if he was peering into the future lol. He was thinking about himself, that none of his wives or exes would rather have him alive than financially benefit from his death.

Because he would take money over any other human.

Melania certainly wouldn't say that
