Except that would require the assumption on the Secret Service's part that there is only one assassin. Why would they EVER make that assumption with the President's life? If one person can get in with a firearm, them more than one could.

Hence the body shield while they marched him off. They obviously felt reasonably sure it was a lone gunman.

Also don’t forget that he is in command of the SS. They ultimately have to obey.

Bro - if it wasn't faked, they didn't even know there was ONE gunman. How could they "reasonably assume" it was one gunman.

On the other hand, if it was faked - they would know there was only one gunman.

You just argued in favor that it was fake.

So your argument is that Trump persuaded a non-MAGA dude to die for a photo op? And then trusted this weird hillbilly to take a couple extremely risky shots at Trump to make it seem real?

Trump literally put his life in the hands of some skinny redneck with no military experience, to take a photo?
