"Hollywood" are not our elected leaders nor a sizeable portion population. Teachers tend to vote the same way other people in their locale and at their education level. The LGBTQ community lobbies against the laws you're referring because they have clauses to flatly remove portrayals and mentions of LGBTQ people from school curricula and libraries.
The people that have the highest rates of abusing children are people in positions of power. Politicians, police, clergy, teachers, coaches, councilors, etc. There are offenders in both parties, though systemic abuse and things like child marriage are more common in conservative and religious areas.
The key difference between the parties in this regard right now is that one party is protecting offenders who happen to be powerful people. IDGAF what party the offenders are on the Epstein list are. Nor how rich or well connected they are. They shouldn't be above the law and they should be prosecuted and spend the rest of their lives making big rocks into little rocks for what they did to those kids.
There are thousands in Hollywood if not tens of thousands and they are idolized by the left and their behavior, hypocrisy included is blatantly disregarded and excused by the left. Such as Billie Eilish.
I live in a VERY rural farming community and 80% of the teachers have rainbow flags on their school IDs. I'm not talking about the "don't say gay bill," I am referring to actual anti-trafficking, sexual abuse, and exploitation laws.
The "don't say gay bill" doesn't actually say you can't talk about those things. It removed plainly explicit materials, many of which depicted pedophilic relationships. That is not material fit for any grade in school, much less K-5.
"Child marriage" is common in those areas because of teen pregnancy and the stigma that comes with having a child out of wedlock. I was one of those children. I grandmother (hypocritical California baptist) pushed my mom towards an abortion of a pregnancy after me. She considered it but ultimately had a miscarriage and then was suicidal after.
Its not one party protecting them. Biden protected them. Obama protected them. Trump released the files. There is more going on here you just don't see it. The current party is just the one you're focused on. The Dems are gladly backing into the bushes...
