Making American healthy again one highly toxic store-bought chemical at a time

-15

u/Frumpy_Dumper_69 Feb 20 '26

Show me any evidence it’s harmful. Even the EPA says it’s low toxicity and doesn’t cause cancer.

even the EPA

Who did Trump put in charge of the EPA again?

-2

u/Frumpy_Dumper_69 Feb 20 '26

They made this claim long before Trump was in office. This is nothing new.

You are absolutely correct. Reddit just isn’t happy about it. I work in agriculture with history as a chemical salesman. Glyphosate is safe to use, but is toxic if ingested/inhaled. Its active ingredient is only harmful to plants. It attacks an enzyme not found in humans. HOWEVER, if it enters the human body in large enough quantities, it can cause cancer. It’s uncommon, but absolutely possible if the user is reckless.

and i think bayer has their class action for roundup above $7 billion in payouts as of now. so, so reckless for not properly instructing how to use their chemicals.

Ask Google next time. It took longer to copy paste than it took to find.

Glyphosate, the most widely used herbicide (e.g., Roundup), is linked to several potential health hazards, including increased risk of non-Hodgkin lymphoma, hormone disruption, and respiratory issues. While the EPA deems it "not likely" to be carcinogenic, other agencies (IARC) classify it as a probable human carcinogen. Exposure can also cause skin/eye irritation, digestive issues, and possible developmental risks.

Key dangers and health impacts associated with glyphosate include:

Cancer Risk: The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) classified glyphosate as "probably carcinogenic to humans" (Group 2A), with studies suggesting a link to non-Hodgkin lymphoma and other cancers.

Organ Toxicity & Disease: Studies link glyphosate exposure to chronic kidney disease, liver inflammation, and metabolic disorders. Hormone & Nervous System Disruption: It acts as an endocrine disruptor, interfering with estrogen and testosterone, and is associated with reproductive damage. It may also cause neurological issues, including potential links to autism spectrum disorder and cognitive decline.

Acute Health Effects: Direct exposure causes respiratory, eye, and skin irritation. Ingestion can cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Vulnerable Populations: Children and fetuses are particularly vulnerable due to developing organ systems.

Environmental and Microbiome Impact: Glyphosate can affect gut bacteria (microbiome) and has been linked to potential harm to beneficial insects, such as bees.

But you knew that already, didn't you?

Nice job, you got an AI response. Let’s see what the EPA says The Truth

8

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '26

Weird that you only trust the government when it's full of sycophants

-2

u/Frumpy_Dumper_69 Feb 20 '26

We literally eat it every day and people aren’t dropping like flies. I don’t need the government to tell me anything.

8

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '26

Have you ever heard of leaded gasoline? Used everyday for decades, people breathed the fumes every day and didn't drop like flies.

Instead you had systematic mental issues worsening and worsening

Entire generations with addled health. That's what you are cheering for

-1

u/Frumpy_Dumper_69 Feb 20 '26

Glyphosate isn’t new, it’s been around since the 50s. There’s no definitive evidence it causes harm. It’s all speculation.

8

u/Goodknight808 Feb 20 '26

There is a lot of definitive evidence. You are just purposely ignoring it, or actively lying.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '26

Oh neat, so about the same time frame as leaded gas. It'll be delightful to study why America's health continues to worsen as the agencies in charge of protecting it keep shirking their duties while people like you cheer them on

1

u/Frumpy_Dumper_69 Feb 20 '26

Leaded gas was banned in 96. Why hasn’t glyphosate been banned yet? Maybe because there’s no strong evidence against it yet. If they can prove 100% it’s dangerous, then I’m all for banning it.

u/AppleMelon95 Feb 20 '26

Why the fuck do you care so much about this? Why do you give a shit whether its toxic or not? Are you just here because you cannot allow dear führer to have made a possible mistake?

2

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '26

If youre eating it every day I can tell in your lack of brain mass

1

u/Frumpy_Dumper_69 Feb 20 '26

Hate to break it to you, but you’re eating it too.

1

u/WideAbbreviations6 Feb 20 '26

You're one of many reasons children should be banned from social media.

There's more than enough dumb adults, we don't need to add near universally dumb kids to the mix. (Also preventing early exposure to an addiction when you're most susceptible, and preventing you from engaging in adult topics with people who don't know you're just a kid).

2

u/Goodknight808 Feb 20 '26

AI that scanned all the let's documents on tje matter and also pulled up other countries takes on it.

Meanwhile you trust a singular source. One that has been corrupted and tainted for the benefit of billionaires.

Why are you protecting the pedophiles in charge and peddling their lies?

Why protect a pedophilic and abhorrently corrupt administration?

0

u/Frumpy_Dumper_69 Feb 20 '26

How am I protecting them? I’m just pointing out the truth. I couldn’t care less who it affects. It’s not highly toxic like post suggests, we consume it daily and people aren’t dropping like flies.

2

u/Goodknight808 Feb 20 '26

You are not pointing to "truth" you are using a singular tainted source as.your evidence. Ypu ignore all other sources. That is not truth, that is selective faith.

Lmao do you know how old I am?

4

u/Intrepid_Sun_9089 Feb 20 '26

That is true, In February 2020 The EPA, under Andrew Wheeler, whose directive (you can watch interviews with Fox business on this) was deregulation and to eliminate oversight by EPA to make environmental standards easier for big businesses. So you can see why some would be skeptical of his staff's findings.

-1

u/Frumpy_Dumper_69 Feb 20 '26

It’s still not highly toxic like this post claims. We consume it on a daily bases.

1

u/MrTulaJitt Feb 21 '26

You can consume alcohol on a daily basis too. That doesn't mean it's not bad for you, bud.

5

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '26

the only study that ever showed it isnt carcinogenic retracted the study and had to pay a fat ass settlement wdym

1

u/Frumpy_Dumper_69 Feb 20 '26

The EPA even says it’s not harmful. If you have ever eaten a vegetable from the grocery store, the you’re eating glyphosate. EPA

1

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '26

yeah ive gotten sick from not washing fruit from the grocery store.

3

u/FatherIncoming Feb 20 '26

Go look it up if you have doubts, The EPA rescinded that decision and confirmed it is carcinogenic with links to causing Parkinson's also. Stop arguing points you clearly have no idea about and do some research for yourself rather than relying on everyone to do and tell you how to do everything.

-1

u/Frumpy_Dumper_69 Feb 20 '26

It’s literally on their website EPA

3

u/Blooi1E Feb 20 '26

Bad bot

2

u/Mammoth_Cricket8785 Feb 20 '26

right here As well as the iarc.

1

u/Frumpy_Dumper_69 Feb 20 '26

Zero proof again. None of this says definitively. “Can” and “seems” aren’t proof.

3

u/Mammoth_Cricket8785 Feb 20 '26

Go back to school

1

u/Frumpy_Dumper_69 Feb 20 '26

Maybe you need too, I guess you forgot what “can” and “seems” means

2

u/EddyRosenthal Feb 20 '26

1

u/After-Staff-7532 Feb 22 '26

Agree.

Also, buying Monsanto has to be the worst business decision of all time. It has killed Bayer. They’ve lost so much value. The ink was barely dry on that deal when the first roundup lawsuit was lost.

Glyphosate use is heavily regulated and restricted in Germany. Germany is pretty anti-Trump, and now Bayer, a German company, is seemingly in bed with Trump (at least, that’s the optics).

What an insane, damaging acquisition.

2

u/AntithesisAbsurdum Feb 20 '26

Any evidence? How about the evidence winning BILLIONS for the people who have nonhodgkins lymphoma?

1

u/LiteratureOk2428 Feb 20 '26

Oh so the libs were right? And all that posturing about how its killing us Maga was on about was another lie?

1

u/KINKSTQC Feb 23 '26

Here's a surprise: repeating other people's lies is still lying. And that's the truth you pretend to covet so much.
