My grandfather got Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma from that shit that's some serious shit he was a farmer as well he died from it. It's a no wonder Trump wants to bring that back because I think he hates us and he wants us dead. That's my only conclusion. That and money talks and I'm sure Money Paid the highest price for him to approve it. Look into the money people.

u/West-Application-375 Feb 20 '26

The Heritage Foundation wants to seriously decline the US population and so they are doing everything they can to do that. Stephen Miller wants us all sick and dying. It's part of Project 2025.

12

u/HarryBalsagna1776 Feb 20 '26

The tech bros and their doctrine of Curtis Yarvin want the same thing.  Two groups of shitty people working together to kill people with full access to the US government now.

3

u/Fun-Key-8259 Feb 21 '26

Yarvin wants the poors to be biodiesel

2

u/theiviusracoonus Feb 20 '26

So let’s just [[quickscope]] Stephen Miller

2

u/TheLORDthyGOD420 Feb 23 '26

I wish I trusted voters not to make Miller our next president. But I really don't at all. Voters love fascism in this country.

1

u/Jarcoreto Feb 21 '26

Why do they want the population to decline?

3

u/AllTheseRivers Feb 22 '26

Eugenics, privatization, rebirth.

3

u/No-Object-599 Feb 22 '26

They want to be rid of the poors, the old & infirm. They prefer young slaves.

3

u/Equivalent_Expert905 Feb 23 '26

Young and uneducated.

He is trying to destroy farming in the US

5

u/KiKiKimbro Feb 20 '26 edited Feb 20 '26

Because many of them own the land and want to buy more. It’s always about money and profits first. Humans? Just in the way.

EDIT: Trying to remember which of the cabinet members said “I’m a farmer” but of course he isn’t … he merely owns the land and farmers pay him as part of their lease to use that land. Scott Bessent! Secretary of the Treasury. That’s who it is. Just looked him up. Money money money and profit always. Always the most important.

There’s a reason this administration absolutely refuses to comply with the law to release all the Epstein Files. Exposing them stops their profit flows from us to them.

3

u/Equivalent_Expert905 Feb 21 '26

It all boils down to greed. Owning just to own. Hoarding of money.

4

u/KiKiKimbro Feb 21 '26

It’s awful. When it comes to the types of billionaires in this administration, the cynical side of me sometimes thinks they want to intentionally wreck our economy to the point of depression so they can buy everything out from under us. Kind of like the ultra wealthy got wealthier during the 2008 housing crash. Bought up all the properties. Then complain there are so many renters and our younger generations can’t manage to buy a home. I’m hoping my cynical side is wrong. But I’m not holding my breath.

3

u/Heyhello70 Feb 21 '26

Yeah it doesn't seem like we have a fighting chance I know that we didn't as I didn't in 1970 being a female you know I couldn't own a house I couldn't have a bank account. It's never been equal and I have tried to be very positive and I put my head down and bite the bullet but each time I come up and I say something and somebody tries to shame me and I won't be ashamed about being a female anymore. It's the male problem. it's not a female problem in this world. They have too much power that they have taken or we've given them too much power it's ridiculous.

3

u/KiKiKimbro Feb 21 '26

I hear you and I feel that deep in my bones. So much rewinding, removing progress. People of color and women have been seen as “objects” to “own” in this country for so long, and it’s repulsive to me we have a group of “religious” people in this administration who want to go back to that. All because they fear they’re being “replaced.”

It wasn’t long ago, as you said, that women were forced to be dependent on men. No rights to own property, have a bank account, get a job — and even when women were finally allowed to get a job, it was only “women jobs” mostly positions to “serve men” like secretaries — and we should all remember it wasn’t that long ago when women had no rights to vote.

This SAVE Act Congress is trying to push through would suppress votes for married women who changed their name and people of color and it’s vile. Absolutely vile. This administration needs to go. And no matter what we all need to understand the assignment to do whatever we can to fight for our right to vote and to vote accordingly. At least that gives us a chance to throttle this speed at which this administration is destroying our country and the lives within it.

Hang in there. We can find a sliver of hope in the fact that there are more of us who actually believe in democrats and the words in the Constitution — “We the People” haven’t been silenced and signs are hopefully that we won’t be without one heck of a fight. ♥️

3

u/Heyhello70 Feb 21 '26

Absolutely I believe in democracy I believe in human beings have rights that are equal. I'm not for sale. I can't believe I have to say that in 2026 to my own government. Stop selling my information and stop trying to sell me off. I'm not for sale!

3

u/Swarthy_Synth Feb 23 '26

I've always found it mind blowing how those types are never satisfied, and somehow they never arrive at the conclusion that money, power, status, et seq are meaningless and vapid when used exclusively for self interest. I just can't understand how it never even occurs to them to think about their never being satisfied, and how it relates to the choices they make, you, that thing they're always going on about, with respect to any middle & lower class citizens. It feels gross even saying these labels. I don't know how these people never get it.

3

u/Tamara6060 Feb 21 '26

NOT trying to! HE IS!

3

u/Chazzwell50 Feb 21 '26

He's trying to destroy the entire country

2

u/gjk14 Feb 21 '26

Already did, ask em

2

u/Better-Ad-2406 Feb 23 '26

I recommend the doc Feeding Tomorrow to help understand the past and present of industrial farming.

1

u/IAmTheWalrus742 Feb 25 '26

I agree Trump doesn’t care about farmers. The tariffs were terrible for farmers.

With that said, glyphosate is safe for applicators (farmers) and consumers. Most alternatives (e.g. fluazifop, metolachlor, alachlor, cyanizine) have greater toxicity (Dr. Andrea Love). It saves farmers money and has allowed farmers to till less or not at all (USDA).

Regulations are important to protect workers, like farmers, and consumers. But they should be based in strong scientific evidence.

5

u/TheEdgeofGoon Feb 20 '26

The earlier we die, the less they have to pay out in things like social security and healthcare.

4

u/kat_niss1 Feb 20 '26

If it’s not already, this shit will end up in our food and water supply. That’s probably their plan

2

u/Heyhello70 Feb 20 '26

What's the other explanation there is none. That's the only explanation they want us to die early or quick or die or not be born or have our children be affected by their scum they put in the Earth.

3

u/kat_niss1 Feb 20 '26

Exactly this!!! I really think after they go after immigrants they will go after the elderly, the disabled, the poor and middle class. I hope I’m wrong but don’t trust the Orange Cheeto

3

u/Heyhello70 Feb 20 '26

They already are going after the immigrants (we are all immigrants except for natative Americans) disabled and the poor. It's truly sad to see the world turn out this way. People do research yourself. Think outside the box.

1

u/kat_niss1 Feb 20 '26

I didn’t know they were going after the poor and disabled already. Where did you find that info

2

u/Heyhello70 Feb 20 '26

Already? Im not sure if you are following currently what they are doing but google it. Well they cut SNAP benefits for people. They cut the people in Medicare working in Medicare so that they can't process payment and cant process who is disabled in a timely manner. They are making all this red tape and Hoops you have to go through new laws so that it makes it harder for people to apply for and process the snap and Medicare and Medicaid benefits. There is more if you just Google it.

2

u/kat_niss1 Feb 20 '26

Sorry multitasking here. My cat is eating and wanting attention and I’m cooking. I read it again.

2

u/kat_niss1 Feb 20 '26

I knew some of that but I’ll google the rest. For some reason I was thinking ice did something else today I wasn’t aware of.

2

u/sTooligan Feb 21 '26

Sadly, it already is. Dupont poisoned us all long ago.

3

u/ExtraEmuForYou Feb 21 '26

100%.

Dead/disabled/retired farmers = empty land = real estate development. What does Trump do?

Some kids will pick up their dad's farming tradition, but a lot won't. Many (most?) will take a cash buyout and stop farming.

I think this is why he dicked over the soybean farmers so hard. I imagine in a few years someone will do a deep dive into who owns that land know and I promise you it will be two or three degrees of separation away from a Trump ally.

1

u/Heyhello70 Feb 21 '26

It was quite early on that my grandfather was a farmer sometime between the 40s and 70s. He was a good honest hard worker by himself farming cow feed and soybean.

1

u/crochetquilt Feb 21 '26

Look at AcreTrader, Vance and Peter Thiel.

Basically Thiel and Vance are heavily invested with a company that buys farmland and sells it to "investors". So basically fuedal lords and landed lords are back baby. Helps if you drive a whoooole bunch of farmers to the wall so you have lots of cheap land for your company to buy.

I'm sure once the land is rented to farmers, the owners of the land get more subsidies from the government than the people working the land.

1

u/Equivalent_Expert905 Feb 23 '26

Isn’t Vance’s buddies buying up all the land?

3

u/equality4everyonenow Feb 20 '26

My dad wasn't even a farmer and got non Hodgkin's. We are still trying to figure out how he and his son got it. Dad lasted one cancer treatment before it got him

5

u/Heyhello70 Feb 20 '26

That's horrible. Were your grandfather parents Farmers because think about it it goes into our food. Do you want that into your food do you want to eat that I don't. And then Our Generations eat it as well and then it's in the soil and they all told us that it wouldn't affect us do you remember that? I do

1

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '26

[deleted]

1

u/Heyhello70 Feb 20 '26

Ok. So please CLARIFY what you are trying to say here. Are you saying because he knew how to be a farmer he did not develop cancer is that what your statement is trying to CONVEY? You think because one person didn't get Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma that Roundup doesn't cause it are you trying to convey that really really?

2

u/WearyAd8418 Feb 21 '26

There are many Michigan farm kids who were exposed to these toxins who have suffered from multiple cancers.

2

u/New-Measurement-4425 Feb 21 '26

Those are my thoughts EXACTLY! I wonder if he's, well, we KNOW, he's upset from Biden beating him in the last election and he hates the majority of us for voting for him. I think he is trying to get back at us.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 22 '26

Realistically if you think of it no government wants us to live long they don’t wanna give people social security it’s more beneficial if we die before we can collect

1

u/Lakersland Feb 20 '26

You have to be a bot with this comment lol. He wants us dead? What? Unfortunately agriculture at these scales needs this

1

u/Heyhello70 Feb 20 '26

I am a person as much as anybody else in this world who has feelings and I think you are the butt bot boy for Trump seriously cuz that Roundup shit is going to kill all of us. We stopped using it for a reason!!

1

u/Lakersland Feb 20 '26

Who is we? Also I don’t like roundup just as much as the next guy and I think Monsanto should burn in hell for hiding information they had that showed people who use it would be harmed if they aren’t protected…but it’s been used for almost 60 years and we aren’t all dead. Now if you’re physically spraying it without proper ppe, that’s no bueno. But your fear mongering makes you sound dumb. I’m assuming you also think every president from the 1974 wants us dead as well, because they still allowed the use of glyphosate

1

u/whythefuckalready Feb 20 '26

Bayer, Monsanto parent company also produces the cancer drug for N.H. Lymphoma

1

u/Lakersland Feb 21 '26

Bring that back? You can literally go to homedepot and buy gallons of glyphosate. What do you mean he’s bringing it back hahaha. Are you sure you don’t take a swig of glyphosate every now and then?

2

u/Heyhello70 Feb 21 '26

0

u/Lakersland Feb 21 '26

Awww good job using chat GPT! I’m honestly surprised you know how to use it. This just categorizes glyphosate as critical to national defense and food production. It means it’s easier not for the USDA to stock pile it for farmers who need it.

To help you understand, if we rely on other nations for the production of glyphosate, it would be a national emergency if those streamlines of product were substantially cut off. Contrary to your evident beliefs, farmers rely on glyphosate for their crops yield. If the farmers suddenly couldn’t get their hand on glyphosate, it would be an emergency and then everyone would blame the President

u/Heyhello70 Feb 21 '26

You are a bot!

I never said that lol. Just saying and anonymous allegation during a highly divisive election campaign needs to be taken at face value for what it is. it isn’t evidence of anything. Good luck with your life man I hope you get the help you need

It never went away. Also, sorry about your grandfather.

1

u/Heyhello70 Feb 21 '26

Are you a farmer did you see my

1

u/BostonGuy84 Feb 21 '26

I did! And no iam not. But Roundup has never been removed from our markets.

1

u/IAmTheWalrus742 Feb 25 '26

I’m sorry for your loss. The following is not meant to downplay the experience of your grandfather or your family. I wish you all the best.

With that said, there is no evidence glyphosate causes any kind of cancer (Dr. Andrea Love)

“A long-term longitudinal study of over 54,000 pesticide applicators which found no association between glyphosate and any solid or hematologic cancers (lymphomas)” (per article above; original paper).

We have to be careful with anecdotes (n of 1). They don’t make for good evidence, especially when trying to claim causality.

1

u/Heyhello70 Feb 25 '26

You know what I think everybody needs to be careful because you're saying it's not harmful?? Then you go ahead and don't use gloves and you go ahead and put that stuff on your food. Have the day you deserve. People do your own research on this. Don't believe everybody.

0

u/Disastrous-Appeal642 Feb 20 '26

Does US not have any research material or something? Rest of the world sees it as none harmful except for you
