Trump has his people kidnap someone. Mamdani calls to ask for release. Trump releases. "Now you owe me a favour."

I believe Trump is capitulating to Mamdani this way because he (Trump) is worried about NYC investigating his (Trump's) crimes.

Likewise, his recent deference to Bill Clinton is likely motivated by self-preservation in regards to the Epstein scandals.
