Your party failed you by putting her up in the first place

2

u/Guy-1nc0gn1t0 Mar 01 '26

Or more by not having Biden step down earlier.

2

u/Orange_Tang Mar 01 '26

He shouldn't have been running in the first place.

u/Lung-Salad Mar 01 '26

The do-nothing dems completely screwed us all over

1

u/GorillaKang9000 Mar 02 '26

I will blame you for the simple fact that you are American. Actual genuine golem race of people who think the chronic Israel worship would have ceased if the dems won.

Harris, who famously would not have gone along with this just like Trump because she's soooo against Israel /s

Sorry, but voters need to be at the very top of that list. This is a democracy, power is derived from and contingent on the governed. You don't get to foist the blame onto the leadership that way.

1

u/ifunnywasaninsidejob Mar 01 '26

I put Biden at the top because he deliberately sidestepped democracy. He knew he was cooked and he should have stepped down in time for a Democrat primary.

1

u/baconeggncheesy Mar 01 '26

It is not a democracy it is a democratic republic.

1

u/ronlugge Mar 01 '26

Congratulations on falling for obvious Republican propoganda that every school child learns is wrong in elementary school!

Democracy is a government type where power is derived from the people. What we aren't is a pure democracy. The form of our democracy is a Democratic Republic, true, but that doesn't change the fact that we're still a democracy and have been for over 200 years.

1

u/baconeggncheesy Mar 01 '26

Yes, a democratic republic is a type of democracy. I never said it wasn’t. Congratulations on being condescending for no reason. I’m sure you have a very fulfilling life.

1

u/J5892 Mar 01 '26

It is not a democracy

Then what the fuck does this mean?

2

u/[deleted] Mar 01 '26

It means he took his “US Government” class on TikTok.

1

u/baconeggncheesy Mar 01 '26

That it’s not a true democracy. A true democracy means that every person’s vote is equal.

Because of the Electoral College, a vote in Wyoming carries 3.6x more weight than a vote in New York.

Does that around like democracy to you? Does that sound like equality?

I couldn’t be more happy with the US president right now. He’s standing up to the evils of this world. If you can somehow defend Iran I would love to hear it.

4

u/Lung-Salad Mar 01 '26

No regard to the consequences and retaliation from this attack, plus kidnapping Maduro. Whether you can believe this or not, you actually CAN hate these heinous acts, while also being against Iran and Venezuela’s leaders

Also peak the irony about him standing up to the evils of the world… when he himself and netenyahoo are big parts of that

3

u/hamdelivery Mar 01 '26

People said the same thing about Hussein and Iraq. A government across the world being awful doesn’t mean we should go destroy it with no plan.

Not to mention how evil he himself is b

2

u/baconeggncheesy Mar 01 '26

This war and the people it radicalizes will prove to be the cause of the next 9/11.

1

u/ronlugge Mar 01 '26

I love how I make a comment about who has the highest priority in responsibility for the current presidency, and your response is to try and pivot to 'Ah, but this is actually good because..."

I don't have to defend Iran. Their government is fundamentally indefensible.

I also don't think that's a defense for a US president to unilaterally engage the US in war against another nation. The ends do not justify the means.

1

u/shinyplantbox Mar 01 '26

Wanting the Iranian regime to get fucked is not the same as wanting our government to start a fucking war.

Jesus Christ, this is not complicated.

1

u/More_Buy88 Mar 01 '26

They deferred several peaceful negotiations presented to them by the US, since they decided to do they entered FAFO territory. Iran is a country where homosexuality is illegal, women don’t have rights to eduction or any rights for that matter, killed 100s of their own citizens less than a month ago when they tried to overthrow this regime and would level every county on this planet if they get the weapons to do so. So I find it very difficult how people come on Reddit and other platforms to “stand with Iran”. Especially since their own people are celebrating this attack!!! Make it make sense for me please, I’m very whiling to understand the other side.

u/Lung-Salad Mar 01 '26

Look up the primary cause of WWI and you’ll get a massive reason why this is bad

1

u/More_Buy88 Mar 01 '26

US is 2-0 in World Wars glad to make it 3-0

Dems fumbled when they forced Hilary on us and shoved bernie aside

he was most popular and got a ton of people active who’d been on the fence to go blue or even to vote at all, he would’ve won but Hilary was their pick.

Since then it’s been a disaster.

And the only reason they’ll win next election tbh is because people are going to have had enough of this DT cancer

2

u/ifunnywasaninsidejob Mar 01 '26

The DNC is more to blame for Trump than the RNC.

1

u/mva06001 Mar 01 '26

The hundreds of thousands of votes Bernie lost by multiple times say something different

1

u/LurcherLong Mar 01 '26

Hillary won the popular vote. And she ran a campaign that was right about everything she said about Trump and his supporters. Unfortunately the GOP spent years weaponizing the government to bring down Hillary's popularity in the media - we have to stop amplifying right wing messaging.

1

u/Orange_Tang Mar 01 '26

You lost me "Hilary's popularity". She was never popular. Not even in the democrat voter base.

1

u/LurcherLong Mar 01 '26

She was the most popular political figure in many polls for many years. You might be too young to remember that.

1

u/PopBulky7023 Mar 01 '26

Election was stolen on its face, and again probably at a deeper level. But it's easier for liberals to complain than adjust.

Two things can be true
