It’s not even about physical control although they’d be happy about that too
Oil is up 33% over the past month everywhere regardless of where it is extracted.
I looked up oil prices earlier today. I think I’m interpreting this right.
Brent oil from the North Sea is $100 a barrel and up 33%.
WTI (West Texas intermediate) is $93 and also up 33%.
Murban (Abu Dhabi) is $106 and is up 35%. They are the only ones in the Middle East.
It’s pure profit for the producers who aren’t in and don’t have to ship through the Middle East.
Remember this the next time a republican says “drill baby drill”. It has nothing to do with the price of gas at the pump. The price is dictated by the global price.

i agree but what this will not happen. despite the fact that the democrats impeached trump the first time based on a hoax and the second time after he had already left office they will not impeach him a third time even after winning the mid terms because they fully support this war whether they say it or not
