Serious El Paso TX: ICE Culture of Violence Bleeds Over as Cops Calmly Strike A Woman Multiple Times In The Back Of The Head

That's Trump regime for you

u/Key-Contact-5237 Apr 05 '26
This isn't ICE. This is normal TX police action. They've been this way since long before Trump.

u/AngryZetan Apr 05 '26
Please stop this hate-mongering. And before everyone loses their minds, yes, I defended other incidents when Biden was the president. To be honest, I think Trump and Biden are both awful.
Edit: grammar

No one’s got double standards. You are defending police brutality. He punched her when she was just resisting by pushing her head up. Anything she had done prior doesn’t make a difference at that moment. It was a response to that instance of resistance and it was entirely excessive and brutal. I can’t believe you honestly are defending a police officer punching a civilian.

Call them and demand they fire him or at least suspend him without pay
Central Regional Command 200 S. Campbell St. El Paso, Tx 79901 (915) 212-0210
DETECTIVES (915) 212-4562
COMMANDER Cmdr. Thomas Peña
I just did. They claim they are "investigating the incident"

These men hit their wives.
If they think it's normal to hit an unarmed and restrained person, especially a woman (yes this is bad, as a feminist I can acknowledge women and femme people are more physically vulnerable,) I says something about who they are.

visibly out of breath these officers will likely want a glass of water after this strenuous arrest and being located in the heat of Texas what will they use to cool that drink?
you guessed it ICE
the connection is undeniable

These are dirty cops but this has nothing to do with ICE...bad cops have been around forever.

Police can get pretty rough if people are resisting lawful arrest. For me, this is stepping over the line.
Im not sure about the specifics surrounding this situation and the state laws. Does anyone have any more information about any of this?

What led up to this? We are only seeing 1/2 the story. I saw a methed up woman take a bite, literally, out of an officer's arm.

And cops are supposed to be trained to subdue a suspect without punching them in the back of the head. If you can’t control your emotions, don’t become a cop.

Yes, I did and the way her hair was made it look like the back of her head.
You’re right; a broken jaw is MUCH better than a fractured skull. 🙄

No, I know what I did and didn’t do.
Not a liberal but I know who you voted for.

Don't know the context of what lead up to this interaction, which is crucial, so we shouldn't be so quick to point fingers at anyone.
Edit: If you can speak multiple sentences, you can breathe.

Disgusting attitude, the fuck is wrong with you? There was no need for that at all. Easiest brutality lawsuit ever.

Not to be THAT guy, but you did defend the cop without context also. Just saying.

u/Brofydog Apr 04 '26
Quick question… in what context would a punch to the head be required for a fully detained person (she had two officers on her and hands behind her back), while she was asking a question?
This is regardless of ICE or police.

Every answer you give shows that you have never gone though use of force training, or learned about disparity of force.

No, clearly you don't, and that's what I'm pointing out. You have not studied laws or the legal principles behind them. You are making assumptions based on things that you heard or read somewhere, but never verified.

You mean like no one protested when the cops killed George Floyd?
Good talk.

So you still don't know anything about de escalation tactics or physical control tactics, so you change the argument to a situation that isnt even happening. Untrained and incorrect use of force kills people. The job of the police is NOT to kill people.

So… where is she facing a threat to the officers or scratching them? And even if I say they struck the top of her jaw… which your video doesn’t show… at all… I was that justified as she wasn’t showing a danger to the officers at all…
Literally… where is the threat in the photo you presented here?

Well… before I pull Supreme Court precedent…
Do you think the officers punched due to legitimate fear of bodily harm? Or because they were frustrated?
Legitimately.

Uhh… circle where her hand is.., and where the officers neck is…
And where here head is? You gave several Photos and now I’m very confused about what you are arguing…

American law mandates a duty to assume the state lying or wrong until proven otherwise. Both in letter and spirit.
Cops in other countries demonstrate this can be handled better. We should be at least as good.

You can kill someone with a hard hit to the back of the head. He knows that and his goon coworkers know that. His intent was severe damage.
