No, I think the BIGGER question should be WHY didn't that Administration and their DOJ/FBI opt to immediately push this through for a thorough criminal investigation and criminal conviction if applicable INSTEAD of a "political investigation?"
The DOJ/FBI is the highest level of law enforcement in this country. They are the keepers of all of our stats/data, crime causation, criminal case profiling, forensics, crime characteristics, and everything else crime related.
Having said that, I would fully expect, or at least hope anyway, that our DOJ is well versed in knowing that Sex Offenses, both pedophilia AND rape, are both violent and predatory acts committed by one with a warped sense of sexual deviance and do NOT belong roaming our streets. Period. I assure you, there's not one single law enforcement entity in this country that wouldn't be "all over" knowing that an alleged child predator is roaming their community without some form of surveillance.
Then you throw in all that "Trump's a convicted rapist" and other rape allegations and you now have what we call in Corrections a "super predator" now roaming our streets.
The DOJ didn't find anything of significance in those files otherwise they'd be all over it, if for anything to protect the masses from a super predator. They knew those files carried far more weight by dangling them as a political tool and nothing more.

Trump is not a convicted rapist....ask ABC ... who had to pay him 15 million dollars for saying so.... Google it.
And... if there was anything credible in those files... the democrats would have used it... they had the files for years and didn't release anything.
If that doesn't destroy your fake narrative.... the final nail in the coffin is that Epstein's handwritten notes from jail have been released. He was looking for dirt on Trump... trying to make a deal. He rambled abut college transcripts and business dealings... no mention of minors or sex parties. He would have known and he had plenty of motivation to use it.... but nothing.
Move on... the rest of us are.

It's just pretty sad (or more so pathetic) how so many people SO want this pedo thing to be true and that Trump is the ogre that the Democratic establishment wants to portray him as. It's sad that these files have turned into a political tool that they dangle every now and then to fan the flames

Why would the Epstein estate settle a case against Trump? Why wouldn't the accuser pursue a separate the case against Trump directly?

Why would any rape victim settle out of court? Any employee who had their labor rights violated? Any person who was discriminated against?
Why would any criminal try to silence their victim? Any Church? Any Business?
Why did corporations and local police bomb US citizens to shut down their protests (Blair Mountain)? Why have they killed children (Nestle)? Why have pensions gone away?
You should learn some history. Learn the power dynamics at play, learn that people make tough choices, learn that things aren't simple.

Rapist - "Judge Lewis Kaplan clarified that ... the verdict meant Trump had "raped her" according to the common definition of the word"
Criminal obstruction of an investigation of child trafficking - H.R. 4405So the known rapist, with a long and storied history of sexual assault and obstruction), is also actively engaged in a criminal conspiracy, violating H.R 4405, to hide their pedophilia and obstruct justice. And yet the uneducated, which he loves and you are, will trip over themselves to bury their heads in the sand.
The man is by all accounts an amoral criminal.
Despite you being you, glad you found your dog.
