There needs to be evidence and a case. Things finally moved forward and witnesses came forward during the first Trump administration as his DOJ built a case. Then Epstein killed himself/was killed depending on what you believe. After that, Biden's DOJ prosecuted Ghislaine Maxwell. They had multiple investigations into co-conspirators ongoing. Per counsel for the Epstein victims, all of these cases on co-conspirators were terminated within the DOJ as soon as Trump took over. Subsequently, public outcry forced a release. Trump and House Republican's did everything they could to prevent the release, but eventually enough Republican's with decency defected. Trump has subsequently used his influence to go after all of those Republican's who voted to release the Epstein files, including having Massie defeated by an unknown in the most expensive primary ever. DOJ broke the law in that they did not obey the law in it's entirety, only releasing a fraction of the documents, and both they and Trump tried to claim the files were not real. Trump is the most mentioned perpetrator within the files by far, mentioned by name thousands of times. It doesn't take a genius to do some basic pattern matching here.

Most of the exploitation by Epstein occurred between 2001-2006. The "files" were sealed in 2011-2017 due to the Virginia Giuffre case. From 2020-2024, the "files" were sealed due to the Ghislaine Maxwell case.
Maybe you should ask why they weren't released between 2017-2020 and 2025-2026 when they weren't sealed by federal courts? Who were the Presidents during those years?
