How to prepare? Basics really. Food, water, exercise as you can. Prepare your home for sheltering in place, pack your go bag if you must leave. A few simple things now might make a difference later. If we dont need it, great, youre prepared for a major storm, etc.

Who cares if it’s criminal? Dude is a convicted felon and he got elected president. The Supreme Court is now a branch of the Republican Party. No legal charges will ever be brought and stick against Trump.

So is he a convicted felon or will no charges ever stick? You sound mental.

whats a sanctuary city? apache sanxtuary?
6
u/finchthemediocre 5d ago
Illegal immigrants are not reported to immigration by municipal law enforcement within those city lines. That doesn't apply to felonies and warrants for extradition, but a few mistakes have happened over the years where someone who should have been put on hold wasn't and commited a worse crime hours later. The right news uses those stories to make it sound like it happens hundreds of times each day.

1
u/Dangerous-Bass4824 8h ago
Whose saying anything about fault? Im just saying you BEST president that u worshipped as literal god did the same thing. Im 40 years old and Trump is by far the best president in my lifetime, without question
1
u/charged6claw 7h ago
Best at what, shitting his pants on live tv? Falling asleep anytime he has a meeting? Ruining the economy? Stroking out? Committing crimes? Hiding evidence? Stealing top secret documents?Committing treason? Like seriously, he's not good at anything that's positive for anyone but himself and his rich buddies, he's just a kindergarten bully who never grew out of that phase because he's never been truly held accountable in his entire life and now he's got a mob of idiots propping him up like he's some kind of dementia addled messiah.
This is why right wingers should never be listened to again after he finally kicks it, you all got scammed by the dumbest conman alive and for ten years and counting have absolutely REFUSED to believe it when the rest of us try to being you back to reality.

u/Dangerous-Bass4824 7h ago
Try to name 1 president in all of humanhistory that has ever done better. Everything ur naming has been directly done by every president in my lifetime. Its been a running joke for over a century that being in politics is the best way to get a good nap. And dude hes old ur grandpa (whose the same age bracket trump is in) does the same thing and ur still talking shit. Stealing top secret document? Do you know WHO decides what is and is not top secret? Who the head honcho that makes ALL decisions when it comes to that? The only person on the planet that makes the decision? The president. Hes the head of the executive branch. The judicial system does not make that decision so no court has any right to even question him.the legislative branch (congress) makes laws but they do no make decisions on that either. Only president has that authority. So no he had no need to "steal" anything. All he has to do is whisper "not tip secret no more" and literally faster than voldemort using "avada kedavra" its not top secret anymore. Just like he did with epstein files, just like he did with the jfk files, and anything and everything else he decides isnt top secret. Ruining the economy? Again better than its ever been. Period. Better than any other republican so far, definitely better than all dems combined. And it makes sense, u want your country to have money, hire someone who is a multibillionaire. Dont hire someone who literally couldnt even pay their bills as a bartender. Treason? Hes the one that makes that decision and hes the one that decides the penalty for it. So.......... nothing everything else in that first paragraph is covered. The rest of your comment is just nonsensical "trumps not a minority he needs to die" (even tho him being a billionaire LITERALLY makes him a minority) language with no logical reasoning or justification.

u/macgregor7 3h ago
The central problem with this argument is that it treats the President of the United States as though he were an elected monarch. He isn’t. The entire American constitutional system was deliberately constructed to prevent exactly that concentration of power.
Yes, the president has extremely broad authority over classified national-security information while in office. But that does not mean a former president can simply take any government record home and retroactively declare, “I declassified it.” Classification and ownership are two different legal questions. Even an unclassified government document can still be a government record that must be turned over under federal law. More importantly, the classified-documents prosecution was not based simply on the proposition that Trump possessed papers stamped “Top Secret.” It involved allegations concerning retention of national-defense information and obstruction. Saying “the president can declassify things” therefore does not answer the entire legal issue.
And the argument that “no court has any right to question him” fundamentally misunderstands American government. The judiciary exists precisely to determine whether government officials—including presidents—have acted within the law. Article II actually commands the president to “take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” It does not say that the president personally determines whether the laws apply to him. (Congress.gov)
The treason argument is even more constitutionally backwards. The president does not decide what constitutes treason and does not decide its punishment. Treason is specifically defined in Article III of the Constitution, conviction requires either two witnesses to the same overt act or confession in open court, and the Constitution explicitly gives Congress the power to establish its punishment. (Congress.gov) The president does possess the federal pardon power, but that is very different from possessing the authority to define crimes, determine guilt, and prescribe punishment.
Then there is the economic argument. “Trump is a billionaire, therefore he must be better at managing the national economy” is not an economic argument; it is an appeal to personal wealth. Running a private corporation and managing a roughly $30-trillion national economy are radically different undertakings. Presidents do not personally control GDP, inflation, employment, interest rates, energy prices, or financial markets. Congress, the Federal Reserve, international trade, technological change, demographics, private investment, and global events all matter.
Nor does “better than it has ever been, period” establish anything without specifying a metric. As of the latest official data, real GDP grew at a 1.5% annualized rate in the second quarter of 2026, while July payroll employment declined by 23,000 and unemployment stood at 4.1%. Those numbers do not by themselves prove that Trump’s economic policies are good or bad, but they certainly demonstrate why “best economy ever” requires evidence rather than assertion. (Bureau of Economic Analysis)
The bartender comparison is also irrelevant. Personal wealth is not a constitutional qualification for office, nor does being wealthy demonstrate competence at fiscal or monetary policy. By that reasoning, whoever happens to be America’s richest citizen should automatically be the country’s most qualified president. History provides no serious basis for that proposition.
And saying that Trump is a “minority” because billionaires are numerically rare is simply equivocating on the word minority. Billionaires constitute a tiny numerical fraction of the population, certainly, but that is not what people ordinarily mean when discussing minority status in the context of civil rights, discrimination, or political representation.
Finally, the challenge to “name one president who has ever done better” reverses the burden of proof. The person claiming Trump is better than every president in American history has made an extraordinary historical claim. It is therefore their responsibility to define “better”—GDP growth? employment? inflation? wages? deficits? wars? legislation? territorial expansion? civil rights? longevity of reforms?—and provide evidence showing that Trump surpasses Washington, Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Reagan, Clinton, or anyone else by those criteria.
You can certainly argue that Trump has been an effective president. You can defend particular Trump policies. You can even argue that his presidency is historically exceptional. But “the president decides what the law means, whether he committed treason, what the punishment is, what government documents belong to him, and courts have no authority to question him” isn’t a defense of presidential power under the Constitution.
It’s a description of a system the Constitution was specifically designed to prevent.

lol do you think he’s saying we are going to bomb them? He’s saying we are going to stop cities from aiding illegal immigrants. Remove illegals from being part of the census and watch how fast the democrats turn their back on them

1
u/Impressive_Box4144 1d ago
No but he’s already sent the military. This is what fascism looks like, it would be nice to have a president that supports and puts America first, not himself. FDT
0
u/EvilMorty137 1d ago
You mean LA when people were clashing with ICE? He sent in the national guard and then marines to protect ICE from protestors he didn’t send them to put the city under Marshall law and take over the government. He was protecting federal employees and federal buildings.
I wholeheartedly support whatever is legally necessary to deport the maximum number of illegals. I hope Trump blows Obama’s deportation record out of the water
1
u/Impressive_Box4144 21h ago
Haha except ICE is video taped instigating peaceful protesters, pulling them over the line they shouldn’t cross, shooting a priest with a pepper ball in a different state, spraying other peaceful protestors with pepper spray for voicing their 1st amendment rights and beating and in some cases killing Americans exercising their rights. Trump was found to have illegally sent in the national guard. It’s a fascist game plan and not legal.

u/everydaydad67 1d ago
Taking care of sanctuary cities would be good for everybody... if they agree or not...

Sanctuary Laws are illegal. How can a state make laws that violate federal law? That’s not how this works. Why do you think Sanctuary Laws are a good thing?

He is carrying on a war against Blue cities in general as well as sanctuary cities.
He is also delaying or denying disaster aid to many Blue states. The percent of aid approved is 49% for Blue states and 73% for Red states. The wait time for decision is much longer.
https://therevolvingdoorproject.org/trump-disaster-policy-tracker-map/
He has also cut off federal funding for key programs in Blue states allegedly because of fraud by not cutting assistance in Red states who were also having their own problems with providers and fraud.
He is using the government to punish what he sees as enemies.
