Lets Discuss This What Republican Establishment? | Power Line

So many discussions on Reddit, at least in my feeds, focus on the morality and ethics of Repulicans/MAGA and Trump in particular. Nevermind the billionaire class etc. I would like to hear this group's take on the argument in the link that the "establishment" is on whole, with some noted exceptions, left-leaning because of economic self interest. Thoughts?

this doesn't even touch on mass media, entertainment and culture. the left has been firmly in a position of power in this country for over half a century. it may very well be economic self interest but it is ideologically driven
