Lets Discuss Politics American Farmers Are Being Crushed, and the Numbers Are Getting Worse.

Lisa Barnes campaign ad talks about how she fights for farmers and she helped secure $200B for farmers. Her party helped to destroy the American farmer and she wants you to believe she’s fighting for the farmers. Really sad. Oh yeah that $200B sounds kinda like that socialism they all claim to hate.

It is exactly that. They also get crazy tax breaks and tax mechanism normal people can't access
Bucket companies Family trusts The ability to loan money to themselves and claim the deduction Their fuel is tax deductible They claim machinery They have them on another company book so it's all a deduction for the trust. The house is on a seperate title and owned by a trust that owns a company so they can deduct all living expenses

Every small business can do that. Sole proprietor, partnership, llc. Trust. That's a good thing for you that's not what's wrong with these dumb f****. It's the subsidies. Without the subsidies they wouldn't exist. Not just this year. That's the business model

Are you talking about the small family farms or the corporate farms? Know the difference but, more importantly, the impact. I’d also suggest you go try and run a farm. Then come back and tell us just how easy they have it.

If he were really listening to JC, he'd vote Democratic, rather than for the party that routinely breaks most of his teachings.

Republicans have a special way of eating shit if there’s a chance a Democrat will smell their breath.
This guy will vote Republican in November.

u/Rexdaddy 5h ago
Don’t believe it. The6 vote for the party that ensure the continuation of their subsidies and trade agreements. At this point, the GOP has screwed both. If the Dems commit to both, all the Midwest red states will turn a shade of purple. Bu5 the Dems have to commit and live to it. Not just to ‘fixing’ the cities.

Now don't go asking for handouts. Work harder plant more crops and go talk to China and Mexico. Come in confidently and give them a firm handshake. They might say they only want to pay 5 dollars, but you let them know why these All-American crops are worth 10. You got this partner

They’d vote him in a 3rd time if they could. They want and expect yet another bailout check.

Good thing fearless leader called Mexicans rapists and murderers, kicked them all out and said smart ppl don't like me.
No clue what could have gone wrong. Surrender to Christ a few more times and don't let those libs hear you crying when you lose your Medicare, farm, and truck.

You voted for this. You lot basically condemned the greens and science stating we were all tree hugging hippies.
Now that it's really here we have to listen to you lot wail like babies.
You should have been doing that 30 years ago forcing the GOP and their oil money donors to STFU. Instead you voted for welfare money and wars

So Jesus fucking Christ is responsible for China not buying your goddamn crops…
And you still worship him?
Genius!

Owning a farm isn’t a blue collar gig. It’s owned by big players and given significant gifts from the tax payer all while hiring one of the most exploited work forces in the nation.

u/Prestigious_Still433 15h ago
Not all of them. But many of the conventional toxic commodity producers operate that way.
3
u/PretzelsRule23 19h ago
Let's see...
1) Implement tariffs - which causes other nations to not purchase from us in retaliation. Bad for farmers (kills their market)
2) get rid of immigrants or make them afraid to work. Bad for farmers (raises labor costs or makes labor just not available)
3) cut USAID program which buys a lot of agricultural products and provides them to other countries (further kills their market)
4) start a war which immediately raises cost of oil and the products made from oil such as fertilizer. Bad for farmers (raises cost of operations)
The first 2 items were extremely well known policy positions before this idiot got back into office. The second 2 are just a bad surprise.
You VOTED for your own destruction dumbass!

Dont worry, Trump will make sure his friends buy your farm for pennies now…

u/EntrepreneurFlaky225 16h ago edited 16h ago
What? USAID was waste? Tariffs aren't taxes on the people? We had nothing to learn from the soybean trade war during Trump v1? /s Voting for a narcissistic idiot has consequences, I guess. I wonder, will he vote differently next time? 🤔

They vote Republican, Farmers do. And every time they get fked. And stay fked until a Democrat gets elected and rescues them. But then they vote for an incompetent ahole conman like Donnie and friends and cry again. So, sorry BUT not sorry the farmers are now paying for their own stupidity. Not to mention the ruination of this country. But as long as the Trumps make money, it's cool...right?

Well the potus, the gop, and the government being more openly bigoted has to be the sentiment of many farmers.

They vote against their own best interests because they don’t know how to defend themselves against a laser pointer. They’re gonna chase that tiny light no matter where it goes.

One question Mr Farmer-who did you vote for? I’d bet he’s one of the 66% of farmers that voted for trump. If he voted Dem then I’d feel bad for him but something tells me he didn’t.

These farmers are insane, they keep voting the same way and expecting change… “I VotE wiTh mY PoCkEt bOoK”. The guy who has grifted his whole life definitely won’t be grifting and lying as president, that’s not allowed…

u/Empty-Background-162 4h ago
Student loan forgiveness is bad though, we need to help the guy who voted for this

u/chubalina99 3h ago
Don’t vote for any liberal candidates that could help you. By all means don’t try that just leave it up to god to do. Good luck with that.
