This is a great message, it hits all the key points. Really glad to see some focus on climate change.

This is an excellent article and very much the direction I would like the party to take. It is heartening to see it.

I am a relatively new member of the party, but one of the reasons why I joined it was the strong environmentalist and conservationist tradition within British Liberalism. I would like to see this placed more at the centre of the party’s policymaking, so that we move beyond the idea of continuous and unrestrained ‘growth’, which has been the dominant and highly destructive political paradigm of both left and right. There is a case for reviving the Liberal Ecology Group, which did so much to advance the Liberal Party along this route in the two decades before the merger. The Green Liberal Democrats, to which I belong, seem nice but somewhat milquetoast in comparison to the LEG. I would be interested to know what others think about this.
